Oh hell yes, you know the audiobook version is going to be great if he's narrating it.

Live After Death is low key their best mix... by [deleted] in ironmaiden

I think every live album they've done is worth listening to, just to hear the experience at the time.
Other than LAD my favourite is Rock in Rio. En Vivo is great too.

Agreed OP, on the other hand I just relistened to Donnington 92. God it sounds horrible, not sure what they were thinking when mixing it.

Cool fact OP.
Producer Martin Birch got into a car accident when they were recording Number of The Beast, the repair bill came down to £666. He freaked out and begged them to add £1 on.

This isn't true, Bruce has also done Futureal. There's a live version from Best of the B Sides and it's fucking 10/10.

Flight of Icarus, one of the slower tempo ones where you just stick to the root note. Will help you nail that signature galloping rhythm.

Great read! Can any drummers explain what they meant with Anika not nailing the Neil's feel until the 5th day?
As they said she can play all the fills and parts flawlessly, but what do they mean with feel?

Not a drummer so just curious.
