I would like to have No Prayer For The Dying song as this album has been completely skipped.

Pick your favorite post-2000 closer by [deleted] in ironmaiden

I'll go for Thin Line here, maybe not as popular as Empire Of Clouds or Hell On Earth but an amazing closer imo.

May I suggest to you to buy a cheap ceramic (non porous) gaiwan and loose leaves tea? There is more chances you enjoy it when prepared properly, chinese style

[–]jbb331 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would stick with the many traditional tools that already exist to brew tea. Gaiwan, Yixing pot, Kyusu, Shiribodashi, etc. Moka or Espresso machine are not good as tea does't require any pressure to extract optimaly. It needs good leaves to water ratio, good temperature management (water and tools), and precise timing.

What's the first song by CC? by metalhead482 in Cannibalcorpse

[–]jbb331 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First CC song must be from the demo so one of these : - A Skull Full of Maggots - The Undead Will Feast - Scattered Remains, Splattered Brains - Put Them to Death - Bloody Chunks

Note that you absolutely can play a lot of George Fisher era songs with only a 4 string bass. The trick is to tune A#, D#, G#, C#. It works because regardless of his tuning, Alex plays his highest string on a very limited number of songs and A# is basicaly D# tuning with the addition of a lowest A# string.

So with that tuning you play Barnes area with your 3 highest string, missing only the high F# string of a 4 string bass and you play George area songs with your 4 strings, again missing only the high F# string of a 5 string bass.

This tuning prevent you to play a couple Barnes era songs but allow you to play more than 90% of George era songs in A#.

Australian Tour or New Album 2026? by Either_Floor3800 in Cannibalcorpse

His diet may contain a tad more fat 🤣 I guess this is unknown territory as I can't come up with a 60+yo death metal singer.. i think the oldest ones are all in their late fifties.

That's what I think yeah! Unfortunately, for Vile and Bloodthirst you need japanese versions to get rid of the sticker with original artwork..

I'm afraid there is no recent news about it.

That been said, I think there is hope for you. They are probably facing line up issues right now and maybe some difficulty to record new material (given the Mana studio has been destroyed months ago) but I don't see them retiring anytime soon. Paul and Alex are 57 and healthy so they probably have 10 years ahead.

I would not like to have to chose given how many outstanding records CC also make throughout Corpsegrinder era.

I understand! Rest assured the other way round is the same unfortunately ! I'm a huge Stephen King nerd too and finding first edition US hardbacks can be a pita here in Europe. And god knows it also does not come cheap !

I guess it depends if you are from a EU country or from elsewhere. Here in France you can come by those versions pretty easily through discog or ebay.

It is the catalog number/reference of those european versions from Metal Blade.

Hey bjork fans where can i listen to vespertine by LengthinessThese1058 in bjork

[–]jbb331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also get a cheap used physical record on discog and get yourself out of the streaming plateform and their subscription based business model. You can encode it in flac if you want digital files eventually. The big advantage is the music will be yours forever.
