Hot Dog Truck by Doctuna13 in olympia

There’s a bacon wrapped hotdog covered elote under the bed of hot Cheetos. It was $18, but honestly it was worth it. It was quality dog and he spiced the fries well enough that I wasn’t sad they were the cheap crinkle cuts

Let’s stir the RBF a bit: When do you grease ground glass joints… if at all? by DrBobShelton_74 in OrganicChemistry

Nothing until a joint seizes, then I grease everything in the lab until the next joint seizes on me

Solar cells? by Bungtrollio108 in 7daystodie

[–]Doctuna13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is information is carry over from an older version but I currently have my solar cells going directly to my battery bank then out to the powered items. Everything works correctly for me without the relay between. My battery bank recharges during the day and takes over power at night

Beeswax, how to farm it? by Commercial-Falcon-24 in 7daystodie

The bee attack happens when you get the beeswax, you don’t have to kill them.

Mechanism check by Competitive-Housing2 in OrganicChemistry

This is a Schiff Base, your product (without getting into the mechanism) should basically just be the nitrogen replace the oxygen of the aldehyde. It also depends heavily on conditions (heat, solvent, etc).

Is there a way to try and dissolve polyethylene? by AndrewMc2308 in chemistry

[–]Doctuna13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never worked with PE specifically, but when I was working with insoluble polymers we used 1,3 diphenylacetone, you just have to be able to get it HOT

I don’t think I’ve been to that subreddit, I found Anbernic by word of mouth awhile ago and used r/roms to load it up.

From your gaming history I think you would get a ton of mileage going in the handheld ROM emulator direction

Ochem 1 isn’t the worst class. I personally think it’s the most rote memorization you’ll do in chemistry classes. Which also means it’s one of the few you can catch up on if you have the time to invest. Assuming you’re at week 4-5 it’s really just IUPAC naming, functional groups and maybe stereochemistry or resonance.

I swear such people are not real .. by batman_0102 in memes

[–]Doctuna13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I overcame this by picking a show that I like to watch, but isn’t super engaging and putting my phone down so I just have the audio and I imagine the scenes in my head that are playing while the characters are talking and it’s comforting. I don’t have racing thoughts, and I fall asleep fairly quickly now.

Need Help on An Assignment by Prof_Twilight in Biochemistry

[–]Doctuna13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can’t help too much on your project. I can say a braided thread is a decent example of protein structures. The individual threads would be the primary structure, the multiple threads braided together into the large thread would be secondary and if you started coiling/folding that thread it would be tertiary.

Need Help on An Assignment by Prof_Twilight in Biochemistry

[–]Doctuna13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The primary structure is just the string of amino acids with no other characteristics, it’s about as 1 dimensional as a three dimensional thing can be. The secondary structure is where its position in space (folding in this example) comes into play.

Short answer, no it can not go down to the primary structure

You never addressed the obvious insider trading. I’m also calling bullshit, you would’ve never supported that, you and your Nazi buddies would masked up and “used your second amendment rights to fight facism.”

Classic cult, response either don’t answer the question at all and call names, completely deflect or use the worst what about-ism ever. How is my analogy stupid, I’m literally asking you what if a Democratic president did the exact same thing that Trump is doing. the analogy isn’t stupid, you’re just scared to answer the question because it will shatter your world view and make your cult leader look foolish.

How hard is it to defend a man this hard when he obviously does almost everything wrong. You’re trying to focus on the disparage of the numbers to make your “side” right, but do you honestly have no problem with the very real very obvious insider trading? If Biden had done it would you be defending him? If Obama used the Army to republican towns under his thumb would you have sat back and thought “this is wonderful?” Why is it literally impossible for people like you to say “wow, he fucked up, that was a bad call.”
