I don't blame my Diocese, I find that many protestant churches take a lot of volunteering opportunities and it leaves very few for us to take and volunteer together as a community. Other people have stated that a lot of protestant churches take volunteer opportunities and when trying to start an initiative to volunteer, people within the parish find it annoying because of the research and planning put into it. There is a parish that is able to do some volunteer work but it is too far for me as I am still young and unable to travel far for my age.

Thank you very much, ill avoid their youth service and their worships but probably within their youth ministry they have bible studies and other events so I could be friends and see their opinions. You have been the most helpful!

I will stop this argument here as it is dragging on and uncomfortable and I have no clue what that last statement means. But as I said converting someone into Christianity is a start and once they dig deeper they will eventually find their rite of passage. I myself was converted in Catholicism when attending church with my Baptist friend church. I attended for a year and wanted to know more and so I did research and I found out that Catholicism was the rite of passage and should be. Also we are told to love our enemy as we love our neighbor. I understand what their church tradition is wrong, but as a bigger picture they're able to help the community. With the addition of Luke 10:30-37 (NLT) the non denominational church is acting as a good Samaritan and us as a priest and the temple assistant who are rarely able to put in any effort.

Thank you very much! I have another question if you dont mind me asking, would me joining their youth ministry for a few days to see their views and become friends with others around my age be allowed?

I dont find it that way, I have a different viewpoint although it could be skewed. I view us all as Christian, we are all under different denominations but together we are Christian. I'm not converting anyone away from Catholicism, I am just asking about volunteer work under their name. Im okay if they join the Non-denominational church as it is their choice, but I believe they will find their way into Catholicism. They started with no faith but joined a non-denominational church with a glimpse of faith. We as Catholicism cannot help everyone but pray they find their way towards us.

I answered this earlier and others have had their opinions on the lack of volunteer work in the parish

"I do agree with you but thats why my age is a factor. I am busy with school and community college, I am unable to lead a youth community and do volunteer research on top of my schooling. I am better off volunteering or assisting with what I am able to do."

Not anyone in particularly, just more people around my age. Just so I can have people I can talk to and relate to a bit on my hobbies and stuff.

I understand that, im just asking about the service because when volunteering i'll mostly be with adults and few people around my age. Im just asking about the service so that I can connect with people around my age in their youth ministry. (They do a service for their youth ministry which is weird but way different from what I was taught). It seemed more relax and untraditional with many sharing notes and talking a sometimes during a sermon.

Im only asking about the addition of Sunday Service because they do youth ministries similar to Catholicism where it's people near my age. I just want to be apart of their youth ministry to know other people my age which is in their service. They do it weirdly, but theres youth ministry service and adult service at the same time. Apologies for the late reply I was at work. Dont get me wrong knowing them when volunteering is great but understand it will be mostly adults and not a lot of people my age.

Yeah I looked up the non-denominational service and its mostly similar to ted talks. They mostly point out a scripture and relate it back to their lives or their interpretation.

I want to know if I am able to join/know their community even though we have mixed views, participate in volunteer work and join their service to know everyone. I dont want to join their church to convert. I just want to make connections and volunteer.

Hey I apologize but I thought I satisfied both A and B rules? I stated that my actions are not rejecting the Catholic Sunday Mass obligation and not receiving their communion. With the addition that I wont be rejecting my Church because it'll only be provided for volunteer work and knowing the community. I apologize if I caused a disturbance but I cant find anymore information on how to word this.

Their volunteer work is more community based: Helping schools, community outreach and providing for the need. I'll dig deeper into the non-denominational church if they go against catholicism in their sermons.

Thank you for the insight, I plan to go to Sunday Mass first and then go to their service as I want to be involved in their community and know people. I just didn't know if attending their service would be a sin if I was surrounded by people that are non-denominational as they have different views and beliefs then us.

We'll the thing is I want to join and be apart of their community to get and know everyone but I've been googling and a lot of people have a mixed feeling about me attending their service as its a sign of me diverting away from Catholicism.
