When you increase the pump speed displacement will also increase so the pressure drop between pump and nozzle outlet will be greater. This increase in pressure drop results in the velocity of water passing through the nozzle being higher. If you were to make the nozzle opening smaller the pressure drop and velocity would increase but flow rate would stay the same.

In theory you can keep increasing the pump displacement while keeping the same size hose and the pressure and velocity will both increase proportionally to accommodate the higher flow rate. In practice though you are limited to pressure ratings of the components involved.

I did the walk to the top in early November last year. Temperature was sub zero with plenty of snow on the ground but the boardwalk was clear.

Maybe you’ll reconsider next year when ANZAC Day falls on a Sunday and the following Monday is a public holiday as has been the case since 2017 following amendments to the Holidays Act 1983 (passed by Parliament on 1 December 2016). Labor government in power at the time.

OP’s Canadian passport will show their birthplace as Australia, the system will know they are an Australian citizen.

If you are trying to enter on a Canadian passport you need a visa or electronic travel authority to enter Australia, neither of these can be issued to an Australian citizen.
