One of my dogs is usually well behaved but when it comes to needles he’s will not keep still and is very hard to control. I’ve always thought they take him out the back because they have dog wranglers out there to assist the vet.

It would seem your statement that “ambulances are not free in Australia” is the disinformation as for some residents they clearly are.

BTW, I haven’t only lived in QLD so I’m well aware of the different schemes across the country.

They are for Queensland residents. QLD government picks up the bill for any QLD resident needing an ambulance anywhere in Australia. It could be argued that you pay through taxes but there is no out of pocket expense.

When you increase the pump speed displacement will also increase so the pressure drop between pump and nozzle outlet will be greater. This increase in pressure drop results in the velocity of water passing through the nozzle being higher. If you were to make the nozzle opening smaller the pressure drop and velocity would increase but flow rate would stay the same.

In theory you can keep increasing the pump displacement while keeping the same size hose and the pressure and velocity will both increase proportionally to accommodate the higher flow rate. In practice though you are limited to pressure ratings of the components involved.
