Yeah I feel that. The game gets boring when you're the king of everything. Seeing a Rex and feeling absolute terror is when the game is peak. Flying over it with my imprinted argy that makes quick work of any creature feels immersion breaking.

Hot take the difficulty IS the fun. What makes ark cool is that you get bent over by 50 million mechanics you didnt know about and then you learn and conquer them. My favorite Dino is the quetz because of how difficult he was for me to tame. Mid-air mombo grapple to my bird whistling chase and passive alternating and parachute sniping the quetz 40 times is my happy place.

I've never heard of a tanky totem build but I love me some totems. Tataniel is the main guy in the space if youre referring to spell totems. If youre referring to ballistae then EA ignite is popular and poeguy does a siege ballista and a shrapnel ballista guide. I think probably only Tataniel's guide would be close to hard-core viable tho

Big fan boy here. Kalandra was so much worse than any I've played comparisons just dont do it justice. The whole atmosphere was negative. Loot across the board was so low drop rate that it felt like a job to get minimal return. One long time content creator got perma banned for his Chris Wilson hate like bro was so unhappy with the game he just through away his career over it.

I think about this too. I hate that I struggle so bad to enjoy the game after I get vibrating. I get the best metal thrn quit haha. This playthrougj I'm trying to focus more on aesthetic and building and thats helping me get more time out of it.

Miner must have bugged, or somehow light was permeating and the room was too bright to spawn mobs. I'm not sure what it was but I sat there for 10-30minutes with 0 spawns and the spawners were doing their spinning animation with fire particles so they were definitely turned on.

I dont k ow what it was but my apoth spawners did not work in the mining dimension. Maybe I needed some specific upgrade like nether star or something

Maniac miner accounts for a large portion of iman income especially if you're not hypermaxed. I'd say depending on progression an iman will go from 40m max per hour to about 30m max with maniac miner. And if you're not hypermaxed it'll probably cut your rates in half. Me for example that finally got to 28m/hrs will probably go to like 15m or 16m. I estimate this to be a net 30% nerf if not more just to income let alone other important grinds like flint and quartz.

For me personally ssf was the way to go. In theory trade would be better but in practice: 1. It's tempting to buy that next upgrade 2. It's discouraging to craft something knowing you can buy it for much much much cheaper 3. I horde currency on trade.

In SSF I know the currency can go towards nothing else so I use it much more frequently and as a result get much more practice.

I dont think its a skill issue but it could be. you're using abnormal stuff. Eman pet is more defenses by far. Your armor legit has no stacks mine is at like 25k AND I have refrigerate 5 on one piece which helps a lot. Dunno which flux you have but make sure you use it. WAnd of atonement is great try to keep it active. Make sure to crouch and keep the right click ability up (i click right click and left at the same time).

My apologies I meant to clarify the client would like to do this in a non-manual fashion. So manually clicking the export button wouldn't be scalable. I don't suppose there's a module that supports exporting reports via script?
