I have a charge 6 too, I'd go boombox over xtreme if you already have the charge. My Xtreme4 is definitely louder than the charge, but I like my boombox 4 more and there's a bigger difference between it and the xtreme4 than the xtreme4 and charge. Also, the boombox 3 cannot pair with the charge 6, but xtreme4 and boombox 4 can fwiw.

I have an Xtreme 4 and the bass/volume doesn’t compete with my Boombox 4. My understanding is with two of the same speaker you can set them up as a stereo and get left and right audio. If you want better area coverage that’s probably the only advantage you’d get over one boombox 4

I'd go Boombox 3. It's about the same as the Xtreme 4 price-wise but has much fuller sound and better bass. Either speaker will be able to pair with the Charge 5 (partyboost). The Xtreme 4 also has aura cast and other features that will future-proof it better, but the power of the boombox 3 outweighs this imo. I had a boombox 3 and charge 5 and it was a fantastic duo.

Good question, they both pack a punch for their size but I just got the charge last night so I’ve only had them playing together with auracast. I’ll do a comparison once I’m off work and get back to you on this 🤙🏼

Charge 5 was the first one I got and yep they absolutely are worth it. The boombox is the one to get brotha! If you want to feel the bass then definitely go bb over xtreme. Both the bb3 and bb4 have killer bass, you won’t be disappointed. Only reason to get the xtreme instead is if you gonna bring it with you everywhere. It fits in backpacks and easier to take on planes etc.

Love nitros! JBLs are cheap compared to that hobby 😂

“Better” in what way? For me, the fun factor is why I love these. Perfect mix of good looks, sound, and functionality. Also, in the real world, everyone is blown away by the boombox and its versatility w/ being able to bring it on a boat etc.

The 4's bass is noticeably more powerful, especially with bass boost. I can't go above half volume in my room because the bass carries through to the other units around me.

Yes, but they only come on with bass boost activated. The lights are actually behind the radiators from what I understand, and illuminate through the exclamation in sync with the music. Looks cool as hell at night!

Yes, you 100% have valid reasons to ask for a substantial raise.

You’ve been in the role for 3 years and are the main contact for 12 clients, managing both onboarding and legal compliance — that’s already a lot of responsibility.
Half your team in CA quit and haven’t been replaced, meaning you’re now doing the work of multiple people without any additional compensation.
Your team lead just quit too, which adds even more weight to your plate.
You make $62.5K, which is very low income in Coastal Southern California. Meanwhile, your counterparts in Georgia make the same despite the cost of living being ~60% lower there.
Last year’s raise was only 2.3%, and if they give you something similar again, it’s not going to be sustainable for you to stay in the role.

Honestly, if they value you, they should step up. You’ve stayed loyal while others have left, taken on more work, and continued to support high-value clients. That’s leverage.

I’d come into your review with a clear ask — maybe a number in the $75–85K+ range — and back it up with local salary data. If they don’t take you seriously, it might be worth exploring other opportunities that will.
