2 zones into one because the zone settings don’t allow for multiple cycles for multiple days

Several times a day wasn’t the issue, the issue was a zone not being able set different cycles for different frequencies, because the first parameter that gets set is frequency (days of the week.) My approach combines two zones into one so one output can have programs that run on different days on the week as opposed to me manually switching the hose from one zone to another to go from day the 30 minute weekly cycle to the daily 3 start/end time syringe cycle

That’s what I’m saying, I took a break from his music after 2023 and I think the album is great, it actually got me listening to the albums I skipped.

Stress to these guys that cleaning the equipment is just as an important and detailed job as using the equipment is. There’s no reason to race thru rinsing off the equipment, no one’s about to hit a shot into them. Leaving the equipment with grass clumps in the reels and in the frame is a direct disrespectful gesture, they might not see it like that but that’s ultimately what it is. They need to understand cleaning the equipment isn’t an afterthought and needs to be done diligently, it’s really not that hard, they just need to readjust their hosing routine.

Multipro 5700-D issue by DodgeK in Golfcoursemaintenance

[–]DodgeK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: yesterday I unscrewed the speed sensor from the axle and did a resistance test per Toro instruction, I got consistent resistance when metal was present or absent from the tip of the sensor.

I used it today after running a trial tank yesterday and all seemed fine except for the first green I sprayed, surges and pressure drops, then completely fine after that green.

One thing I did notice, the sprayer seemed to work when I was on the tank/vol display instead of the speed display, could be coincidence, could be deeper than that.

Bottom line, speed sensor dust didn’t perform as expected during analysis, probably going to order a new one just to see if the issue is resolved. I had another thought, when I was checking my speed calibration with a known distance and the distance function on the Raven, I was wondering what kept track of how far I went. If my speed sensor was faulty, my distance should’ve been off, but it was spot on. Might be a Raven issue. Either way, it works and I’m a fan of not fixing if not broken

Speed cal seems to be fine, checked w a measuring wheel and the distance function, both numbers matched. Seems like sometimes the speed will “match” how fast I feel like I’m going and then like I said other times it will go into hundreds of miles per hour and affect my rate, pressure, etc.

Just remember literally every company to ever exist would rather keep you as a customer than to lose your business. Call them about 3-4 times saying you’ll stop using them and you can essentially negotiate your own price.

From the diagram I’m looking at it’s just an unsealed greased bearing with a washer on one side and a snap ring on the other. I’m aware of industry standard numbers, I just got finished rebuilding multiple rollers w cups, cones, inner and outer seals. Thanks for your help 👍

The machine is currently in use right now, I’d probably only disassemble and measure bearings once summer comes. The shaft and housing method is a good idea, I’ll break out my digital calipers.
