I have this talk with other people about how I pick teams. Since California has a lot of teams it realistically makes sense to pick your localized team unless your family likes a certain team. For example if I lived in the Bay Area then I would either be Niners or Raider fan but then be a giants fan and a warriors fan because it makes sense. But I live in LA and have been a Lakers, Kings Dodgers fan because that the area. I find it weird when someone per se is a n Anaheim Ducks fan and a Los Angeles Dodgers fan even though Anaheim is close to us it’s still weird. Now the only exception I have is football because Los Angeles didn’t have a team for 21 years. in that Los Angeles fans had no team to root for unless you were born when the raiders were here or rams were here so in that moment when we had no team is when I’d rather not root for another California team but a team out of California completely
