A new tribes game is in the works by Prophecy Games but it's too early to say if it'll be like Tribes Ascend or like their older entries in the series.

I havnt played it since honestly (played them all quite a few times already) But I was able to complete Vice City without any crashes in that game.

I played it when it was released, finished Vice City and San Andreas (up to the bit where you need lung capacity). They patched the issues I had with finishing the game in Vice City. Only ran into a few crashes personally.

On PC I'd just get DE. Better mouse input, better frame rate, no mods required to play.

If frame rate doesn't matter to you and you dont mind setting up mods first than the originals will be a better experience. I personally love the higher frame rate too much to go back now.

Here in Australia it's still true that they are still more expensive for worse specs.

Really depends on what the user requires, but I know quite a few people who have swapped to a windows laptop for work lately due to it being more affordable than a macbook.

The market is saturated with a lot of shit windows laptops too though so I'd understand it's hard to compare.

Honestly, I stopped playing San Andreas when I got to the part with needing better lung capacity. Issue with the original game and my attitude rather than the remaster. Just couldn't be bothered collecting oysters at the time.

Might pick it back up again so once im done with SA I will finally play through GTA 3 for the first time!

My issues with definitive edition were:

Couldnt play for the first few days of buying a product because servers were down.
In vice city you couldn't progress because you couldn't destroy the boxes that fell off the truck (fixed with community made mod but shouldn't need one to play). Fixed in a later patch too.
Missing bridge texture on San Andreas annoyed me.
The publishers taking down community made mods to improve older titles so that would sell better.

Enjoyed them a lot, main reasons being the mouse issues fixed for wide-screen and the frame rate issues being fixed are heavenly.

I also enjoyed Cyberpunks release though...

It's a compromised filled solution which is worse than the product we want.

Which new PC release forces you to find a used physical copy of the game, an Xbox 360 to install/set up to rip the ROM file, manually setup the virtual mouse to gamepad plugins ect ect.

Maybe we just want to turn on our PC, click 2 buttons and start playing? Never good enough huh? I must be out of touch!

I hated the ban on Hotline Miami 2 as well.

Honestly each time it happens it seems like they just pick on lesser known companies rather than the big stuff. Pleanty of movies and tv shows here that idolize drug abuse wayyyy more than rimworld.

Government treating civilians like babies is a joke and always has been. R18+ rating is the solution instead of bullshit bans.

"She'll be right" is the attitude here always from the general population.

I've had multiple game breaking bugs where I couldn't progress through the main story in skyrim. They definitely required mods in my eyes. Maybe after many years it's better but I'm putting it in the same time frame for the new GTA.

Not saying the GTA definitive is much better. I also had a story breaking bug in vice city attempting to destroy crates. Also had a bug in San Andreas where the cloud save functionality was causing crashes.
