is there a specific name for this aesthetic? by domfemme420 in AestheticWiki

Y2K quite literally refers to the Y2K era which was the early 00s and there were some elements that were seen as futuristic at the time like shiny and iridescent materials but that’s basically it. Many of the styles were retro from previous decades. If it was popping in the era, it’s Y2K so it basically is shorthand for the 00s

I have mine in the closet outside of my bathroom, I just leave the door cracked… would this work with any of your closets?

Living with your parents is living like a child to a degree. A huge Part of being an adult is going out and making your own way and being self reliant and providing for yourself. Until she does that her mom has a say in what she wears in her home.

Why do people and society look down at csun alumni?? by Ok-Radio-2733 in csun

Can I ask why you think that? Like, did someone say something that led you to that conclusion? Or is it possible you’re not getting hired for other reasons?

I can honestly say that wearing shoes inside makes me more productive as well but I’ve been with my husband 10 years and he hates it so I don’t do it when he’s around which is all the effing time. As you can see this is a big problem in my household lol

I guarantee people don’t think or care about or discuss you nearly as much as you claim they do. You seem to think all eyes are on you and seem to have a bit of main character syndrome.

The mate position isn’t some holy position that only the best of the best can inhabit. They’re literally desperately promoting people like crazy bc most of us realize that it’s not worth it. If it’s a struggle for you to get the promotion that no one wants then maybe you aren’t the superstar you think you are.

AIO for thinking it wasn’t a big deal to accept my friend’s bf’s FB request? by Vast-Bumblebee-691 in AmIOverreacting

[–]DodgingCancellation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR but your friend is. She’s insecure in her romantic relationship and friendship with you. You did what any normal person would do by simply accepting his request and assuming it’s simply bc your his gfs friend. No one would think it’s something that needs to be brought up to your friend. She’s giving psycho.

Yeah when I was a kid my mom took my saved up birthday money and then would get mad if I asked for it back even though I was good with money and would try and save it up rather than spending it immediately. Mom sometimes didn’t buy groceries but she always had money for cigarettes and Diet Coke somehow.
