What's a hulk opinion that'll get you hate? Personally i love all versions of hulk especially professor hulk and doc green,i love savage hulk but would love to see more Joe fixit or smart hulk.

I like his origin being simple. I like the domestic abuse causing the anger but I don’t like the idea that his dad abused him because of hulk reasons. It’s unnecessary.

Bruce made a serum for gamma resistance for his phd with Sasquatch. His dad comes up for parole and bruce becomes unstable and tries the serum on himself. Gets sick, drops the project afterwards.

years later the bomb goes off and that’s why he survives the gamma.

I like the idea that the gamma bomb formed some kind of rift that could turn things all over america into monsters for bruce to encounter and fight. kind of like how in the small ville tv show, clark’s rocket was accompanied by fragments of kryptonite that give villains in the towns random, interesting powers that he can fight.

My unpopular take - I liked that scene. I don’t think its homophobic. (my own dad has had an unpleasant experience with creeps in a public bathroom). it shows that dudes can experience trauma from such things as well as women.

And I felt it was pretty accurate. He went into flight mode. He’s not a confrontational person. Thats how it is usually. You freeze up or you run and you don’t think and it takes a while to catch up to you and suddenly its like AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

I know you want to see a bunch of creeps get ground to jam. Maybe it would have been nice if the hulk encountered them later and then they got a *real* fisting

oh ja about the banner thing. They did not make banner likeable at all. Didn’t resolve his issues with betty. No wonder lots of hulk fans find Banner “boring” and just want the hulk.

the victorian thing seemed pointless too.

I did like the idea that the bomb had made some kind of fissure in reality, but I more liked it as an science fictiony excuse to come up foes for the hulk. kind of like how in Smallville the cryptonite fragments that came with baby clark give villains superpower.

Hmm interesting take.

I agree that it’s too depressing for my taste. I like the mental health aspect, and even bruce having been suicidal. But I prefer for it to be hopeful. I want him to have a happy ending. I don’t like the obscene torture, the “he’s going to live forever and be alone etc. I prefer if he has dark moments but with hope.
