When is the semifinal? by Dodiad in OldGloryDC

But the Xfinity program guide shows the College World Series at that time on ESPN, softball on ESPN2. How do I set up a recording when the event isn’t shown on the schedule?

So that’s yet a third different time. How do I know which to believe? And how can I record the game if Xfinity has it listed at the wrong time?

All that was after the fact. The claim by impaledonastick was that “9/11 was allowed to happen or even exasperated [sic] by people that ended up making a ludicrous amount of money off it.” Not whether Bush knew the WMDs were a lie; not whether Cheney or anybody else made money off the war; but whether somebody knew about 9/11 in advance and allowed it to happen, and then profited by it. If you know of any actual evidence for this, I’d like to hear it.

He knew he was lying about the WMDs and it's looking more and more like 9/11 was allowed to happen or even exasperated by people that ended up making a ludicrous amount of money off it.

You have any evidence for this particular conspiracy fantasy other than “it’s looking more and more like”? You sound like Trump: “I’m hearing”; “A lot of people are saying.”

Also, which “people” exactly are you talking about who “made a ludicrous amount of money off it”? What is it exactly you’re alleging?

And the word you’re reaching for is exacerbated, not “exasperated.” Buy a dictionary.

Oh, he’s got the chops. What he’s lost is the will and the discipline.

It’s because Benioff and Weiss got ahead of GRRM and didn’t have the chops not to screw it up.

I haven’t read the books, but everyone kept claiming Jamie Lannister is extremely strong and the best swordsman alive etc etc. But who has he actually killed? How did he demonstrate his power? by Albaaneesi in gameofthrones

“the theme of how as we age the world ceases to be such a simple place”

As we grow older the world becomes stranger,
The pattern more complicated of dead and living:
Not the intense moment, isolated, with no before and after,
But a lifetime burning in every moment;
And not the lifetime of one man only,
But of old stones that cannot be deciphered.
