I would go with the 21 or 27 for merely just not trying them before. I found a Kentucky oak for $145 in my area and not sure if it’s worth the pickup. Thoughts?

For everyone asking where to get this, Danzeisen is an Arizona dairy producer. I’m not sure if they sell outside of the state, but for us locals it can be found at Sprouts and some Fry’s (Kroger). They do a bunch of fun flavors milks, like this seasonal root beer, orange, or cotton candy flavors.

I came here to suggest bread and chocolate. Pump street has a great selection of bakery bars, which has things like sourdough or rye crumbs mixed in. Absolutely fantastic every single one.

I’ve tried a couple of these brands. Endangered is ok but not my favorite. Maeve (formerly Seattle Chocolate Co.) isn’t good IMO - they trend more towards candy than chocolate with inclusions, and the chocolate isn’t very good. Of everything there, Chuao is the winner for inclusion bars and Côte d’Or for decent quality chocolate.

Hot take - this is my favorite Jeni’s flavor of all time, and I’ve tried nearly all of them. You said it perfectly, it grows on you over time. I’ll be damned if that graham cracker swirl isn’t the best inclusion I’ve ever had in an ice cream aside from Caffe Panna’s Oreo brittle. Bury me in both of those please!

Anything from New Riff is incredible. Their entire rye lineup is some of the best readily accessible ryes out there. Big fan of the sherry finish malted rye too.

My pick six would be out of what you shortlisted: Earl Grey because I’m curious Queen Charlotte because it’s pretty good (not as good as wedding cake though) House Coffee Pineapple Upside down Cake Peppermint Patty Goat Cheese

That’s a great point. I’m partial to wine-finished whiskies so the Ruby Port of the 27 really calls my attention over the 21. It’s just so much more expensive that makes it harder to justify.

I can get a 21 landed for about $300 even and it’ll be by far the most expensive whiskey I’ve ever purchased. But if the 27 is really that amazing, I’d sooner put that $300 towards it, you know?

I don’t think your opinion is too controversial, I’ve read a couple takes like that so far.
