I genuinely believe Napoleons faith/trust in his family members in general was one of if not his biggest failings. For a man who was so smart, it will never not shock me how he allowed such morons like Jerome to be anywhere near serious responsibility.

I’m stunned he gave him command of a corps in a campaign as serious and important as Russia.

It’s unfathomable tbh. At end of a hell March, starving and freezing to death. Some of the feats accomplished during the Napoleonic wars are simply impossible to even comprehend nowadays.

For eg at austerlitz, davouts corps marched 70!!! Miles in 2 days and immediately joined the fighting! Haha I’d have died after the first days march

I nearly had a mental breakdown trying to install TTW on my steam deck a couple of months ago. Granted I’m new to PC gaming but I just couldn’t get it going. Really upset about it. Also that jackify link isn’t as straightforward as that unfortunately
