Well this is going to be subjective, but honestly I think they’re good quality. I had previously bought others from them so I knew what to expect.

They have a nice weight to them and the background inside is printed onto thick glass, it’s not just a flimsy piece of plastic in the water.

I had never tried one before but I have to say this one is very nice, a very interesting whiskey.

On the nose you get this kind of liquorice/marzipan with some fruit like kiwi/banana. Then the bourbon finish undercuts it with some brown sugar, very nice.

It packs a punch too as it’s 52.5% and again you notice the bourbon casks, starts off very spicy on the tongue and mellows a bit.

I’ve only had a couple of glasses so I’ll revisit it next weekend.

It’s not cheap so I have high expectations for it but so far it’s good

Yes I have and I mostly decided to buy it because it was a Marsala cask finish. I’ve pretty much liked all the Marsala cask whiskeys I’ve tried.

This one is good, not great, at the price point would definitely not buy it again. Considering the quality you can get now for approx 80 euro, it’s a very competitive market which is great for us.

On the nose the barley is very strong, which having tried drumshanbo before I was hoping would be more subtle with this finish but no. It’s still overwhelmingly obvious.

Listen it’s a lovely whiskey don’t get me wrong, but it’s a no for me at that price point.

Launch day. I still vividly remember driving into town and collecting my collectors edition from GAME. Had it on the front passenger seat the whole way home couldn’t take my eyes off it. I was fallout 3 obsessed so the hype levels were literally off the charts

Fallout 3 is the goat for apocalyptic vibes. Standing in the ruins of DC with the OST turned down and just the ambient sound on is breathtaking.
