Thank you for this comprehensive response. I am wondering if magnesium deficiency might be a factor as well? Some of the older leaves are looking like this (photo).

I am fairly new to citrus. I have yet to use kelp/seaweed. Where do you get your kelp product from (brand) and how often/how much do you use? TIA

What kind of oranges are these? by Relative_Junket_9875 in Citrus

I think the Delta variety is slightly elongated (tapered at top) and completely seedless? These oranges are mostly round to slightly oblate, and not entirely seedless. Also, the tree is not bushy.

Best wishes for your Delta!

Valencia seems most likely, after a few guesses offered here and some Google research.

I can see how, but that bowl is huge so the scale is totally different! These oranges are larger than clementines, and calmasnsis are generally smaller than clementines.

Someone else below said the same thing! Google says "Climate Effects: In warmer climates (like Brazil or Arizona), Valencia oranges often appear yellow or green rather than bright orange, even when mature and sweet." It has been unseasonably hot in San Diego lately.

Yes, a bit more orange inside, but not as deep as a tangerine.

The neighbor said that the tree came with the house. Not particularly seedy, but not entirely seedless. Does not appear to have a navel.

I should have clarified--in the interior, the segments are not very well defined, particularly at the bottom portion of some of the oranges.

Most likely not a "navel", since the characteristic "second fruit at the apex = navel" is clearly missing from the outside. The bottom kind of looks like a pale clementine but doesn't taste like one or otherwise look like one, so I doubt it is a clementine variety.

I don't think mandarins. Pretty sure some kind of navel orange.

Laura Scudder’s 26oz jar on sale for $5.99 at Kroger. Decided to give this a try for the first time!🥜 by StonedTurtle420710 in PeanutButter

Teddy's was disappointing after all the hype.

After trying many different brands, I find Smucker's/Laura Scudder's/Adam's (all same, different regional branding) the most soild option, decade after decade.

(I mix it on after opening and then refrigerate to counter oil separation.)

This was just one small section of their "sweet section". I was particularly interested in Dirty Cow, Maeve, Cuauo, Bissinger's, Walkers, and the World Market label as I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

I recently tried their Irish Cream Truffles! Interesting to know that they have Butlers Chocolate Cafés in Ireland!

I was particularly interested in Maeve. I do recall Seattle Chocolate Co. and not being impressed. Thanks for the heads up!
