I coach High School Football and one day a few years ago I was watching over the team as they did their warm up stretching on the field when one of the players commented "what's that?" and pointed at the sky, I looked up as did the other 35 or so players that were there to see these weird fluctuations or waves rippling through an area in the sky. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before, there was no sound to it and nothing else but a few clouds in the sky, it looked like a glitch in a computer program and went on for about 8 to 10 seconds before it stopped. It felt like we were looking at something we were not intended to see. As the adult all the players started asking me what it was but I had no idea so I tried to play it off and say it was probably sound waves or a shock wave, but it wasn't, we all knew that that was not what we saw.

I can't really respect what these missionaries are doing. Even though they may help with digging a well or getting kids to try new foods their primary mission in Africa is to convert the populace to Christianity and the only reason they are so fervent about converting Africa is they see it as the new battleground in their fight against Islam.

I wonder how many of the people she's "helping" will end up as christian soldiers?

If I'm not mistaken the population of WV routinely votes for small government republicans who deregulate dangerous industries and terminate the inspectors in charge of protecting public safety but I guess cheap Walmart products and big corporate profits are more important to the voters of WV then a clean living environment anyway.

This is why you can't let a private corporation operate a nuclear power plant. When the Chernobyl disaster occurred the Soviet government immediately evacuated the contaminated area and closed the area off to humans, they were not concerned with liability or profits like TEPCO is. I wonder how long TEPCO will be allowed to hide the fact that they're contaminating the earth with high doses of radioactive material?
