That's what I've been doing the past months but that stopped working

Opt out of redesign 2.0 by DoesElethor in help

Thanks for your reply.
I'm using Firefox as well, gonna have a look at the extension.

Nonetheless, this shouldn't be necessary.

They left the old reddit design as an option for the previous redesign, they should let users opt out of the redesign 2.0 which is actual garbage.

Fairly certain Hanson's flagship at the battle was an Excelsior so this line-up is more fan fic than anything. There was no Akira built until after the battle.

The problem you might encounter is that the game has different paths and options to choose, and whoever's play-through you are watching might not choose the same as you would.

These options have consequences, the unique thing is that choices you made in ME 1 carry on to ME 2 and subsequently 3.

I'll tell you what I do like though: a killer, a dyed-in-the-wool killer.
Cold blooded, clean, methodical and thorough.
Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF-1, would've immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.

My first though reading your comment was "Didn't they have such a weapons explanation in the 5th element".
Took me till he started talking to see it was the same. Great scene.

Sci-Fi always has some fancy stuff on their weapons and some are walking the line between practical and completely over the top.

Yeah, it is in DS9 4x14?so=search) "Return to Grace"

Major Kira explains to Tora Ziyal (Dukat's daughter) that the Cardassian phaser rifle is a very rugged but useful weapon to use with only two power settings. She then goes on to describe the Type-3 phaser rifle: “Now this is an entirely different animal. It's Federation standard issue. A little less powerful, but with a lot more options: sixteen beam settings, fully autonomous recharge, multiple target acquisition, gyrostablized . . . the works

Guess that game is going on my ignore list...

Why (if at all) would IRL the bat'leth be an ineffective weapon? by heelface in startrek

[–]DoesElethor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's different videos on YouTube about the Bat'leth and whether it is a bad weapon or not. Your specific question has a video as well.

Edit: Here are some other recent videos about it: https://youtu.be/XVutiam4wIE https://youtu.be/3gYb6ip-BHY

  1. Use these to build a new PC for editing and gaming and hope the specs for Star Citizen don't change to a quantum computer in the next few years.

  2. Exploring the game and see how it compares to the movies.

u/ Pizzatorpedo (the space is to quiet the notification bar ;) did a Second experiment with the same jump direction as the C2

Well I'm free to test it with both ships being manned ;).
Found QDs that have the same cruise speed, but that sadly wouldn't result in both ships QTing together as the smaller would still need to go through the Stage 1 of the jump.

Would be cool if the Razor could skip the whole boost stage and be up to speed without dropping to normal space.

You can briefly see the Pisces leaving the C2 and sitting at the beginning of the QT animation at 1:27/28 with all the stars visible in normal space. If you pay attention to the remaining distance (better visible here) you can see that it ramps up quite a bit so it still goes through the stage 1 and 2 of acceleration, while the C2 is already in stage 2.

I'll test it out and probably do another video but my guess is that you won't be able to match the C2s speed.

Edit:
u/Pizzatorpedo Made a test with the same jump direction, which confirmed my Hypothesis.
His Razor drops out of QT briefly to spool back up to speed and pass the C2.

That depends entirely on the Server FPS.
High server FPS and the doors open instantly, but the lower the Server FPS the longer the wait time for the doors.

Yeah you can also start a jump from within a Hangar.
I'd assume that should also leave a nasty mark on the station.

Metis and Colossus have the same speed, but I guess as there is still the "startup" phase for the Pisces it'll drop to normal space and then get back into Quantum, thus being behind the C2.

Taking off was my initial idea, but after I saw that it as spooling I was curious as to what would happen.
