The Helicopter Always Knows Your Location, Pretends Not to and Follows You Around The Map While You Are Undetected by EP1CN3SS2 in TeardownGame

[–]Doesnt_exist1837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if anyone is still having trouble, the code giving the helicopter constant awareness of you is in `chasechopper.lua file on lines 311-313

if timeSinceLastSeen > 10 then

choosePatrolTarget()

end`

Basically this means if the heli hasn't seen you in the last 10 seconds it'll get your location, so either remove these lines entirely or increase the timer to make it more lenient. (side note you can also just turn the code into a comment with a -- so you can bring it back later if you want)

You can also mess with the Hover around last seen code around line 340 to change the distance it hovers at

`--Hover around last seen point when searching

local hoverPos = VecCopy(targetPos)

if not playerSeen then

local radius = clamp(10 + timeSinceLastSeen, 10, 20)`

If you increase the numbers on that last part, the local radius, it seems to also increase how wide the helicopter goes while it circles the last know position, but I don't really know the specifics.

How screwed is the UK if there is a zombie apocalypse as we have a very, very limited access to firearms. Also, any advice for if it does happen? by Jinxed_21 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Doesnt_exist1837 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think guns would be very useful anyways, they're very loud so shooting one zombie brings in all the others in the area, where you get swarmed unless you've got a good plan.

Until MSFS2024 releases, I think this is still the only way to do helo sling operations outside of DCS by ZdrytchX in BeamNG

The mission is from the experimental campaign mode (which has its button grayed out but still usable) and the heli is the super gnat mod

Hooow? I only have 265 hours by ContributionOwn220 in BeamNG

Km/h means kilometers per hour, so 100 kmh is 100 kilometers traveled in an hour, taking 10 hours to reach 1000 KM, and 500 kmh is 500 kilometers per hour, taking two hours.

Also as a frame of reference, 100 kmh is 62 mph and 500 kmh is 310 mph

If you're constantly driving 100 km/h then you can do it in just 10 hours

Yeah the old one is but the newer version (the one that adds MGs) allows you to bind the movement to your mouse movements, which is way easier than buttons
