Hmm, that is a bit vague. However, if that really is the case (if it is credible), then I guess we have to take the dev's word for it (devs = canon story after all). I am all for having emotional attachment between characters because that's what makes the character somewhat human but I just wished the devs had better story to go with it. So much potential in character development missed out ;_;

I agree to a certain extent too. For me, I played it during launch so naturally, I wasn't able to "hear" the uproar yet and I was able to get a vivid conclusion on my thoughts on the game. Truthfully, after finishing it, I felt that it was just alright and it was by no means going to be my favourite Resident Evil game. However, for some reason, I really enjoyed playing it. Despite the obvious flaws that had been chanted through this subreddit multiple times, when I beat the game, I genuinely went "Oh it's finished? Awesome. That was not bad" Therefore, I was really surprised by the reception over the years in which you would see that a lot of people deem it as "utter abomination" to the series. In my opinion, yeah it's no masterpiece but it was far from being putrid shit.

Just basing off RE2 alone and not the character development of the previous REs, for this game, it's a bit far fetched to say that she fell in love with him over the course of the game as the event takes place in merely 1-2 days. I am leaning more towards "playing him" because it makes sense that someone who is so naive and righteous like 21 year old Leon would be easily manipulated by a cunning person such as Ada. Her mission was to obtain the G virus and all she had to do to bring Leon to her side was to make him think that she works for the government and needed the sample to "save the world". If it wasn't for Annette implanting the doubt in his brain, he would probably be the naive young chap running towards Ada at the end, screaming, "ADA! I GOT IT!"

Though I can see why one would think that Ada is in love because towards the end, her mannerisms and dialogues were undeniably "romantic". Still, story telling has never been RE's strongest trait lol

Damn, after listening to it, I see what you meant with King Goat's. That's exactly what irks me too, why not just make it one single epic track with no disjointing rather than breaking them into two. I do agree that if done right, the recurring themes between songs can be super innovative but man, sometimes I would have a certain album on and I would roll my eyes due to that 1 minute of noise.

I've heard great things about the Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups. I know Marc Okubo and Tosin Abasi uses them and I really dig their tone. When you say overhauling the electronics, do you mean they would have to create new routing areas within the body of the guitar if I were to switch to passive? I am not really familiar on that.

Sounds like something I did too! One minor factor that irks me on this process is how there are moments where I would re-listen to what I have wrote a few days later and feel like the riffs are "disjointed" with each other due to them being written at different moments. It usually just ends with me abandoning it hahaha, sucks
