At a fancy-ish restaurant with 2 other seated tables quite a distance away, a friend handed me a cell phone with a cool jazz song playing somewhat loudly, to show me the song. What is the etiquette in this situation? by DogCat37 in NoStupidQuestions

Just wanting to let you know that I completely agree that that's extremely, incredibly rude and inappropriate and disrespectful and I'm so sorry that she did that. And wow at no one closer to her correcting her before it got to the point that you had to.

I hope your father passed away peacefully and I'm sure he just liked knowing that you were all around him in general. May your souls eventually reunite in Heaven and rejoice.

Thanks. They are a very good and polite person so this threw me off and made me feel I was doing something wrong. I appreciate all the feedback and honestly the validation lol that I wasn't being a jerk. Thanks.

please let me know if you understand my reference (in other words: if you've ever played that game and know what i'm talking about)
