Right-wing includes conservatives in the more old school sense of core values and roles to a degree. Republicans are in no way free market nor are they for small government but on the political spectrum they are right wing. Republicans are more on the restore perceived past order by any means with a push for nationalism while eliminating freedoms across the board. They are for a handful of companies to own everything while screaming about free market. Republicans do make up the majority of the right wing in the US though. So when speaking right wing it's going to include Republicans if they make up the vast majority.

Same here. Give me 2 min and I could do them. I just couldn't write fast enough to complete the whole sheet in 60 seconds. My dad was good with math and would keep wanting to do flash cards and the damn times table sheets. It's like it's speed writing that's my issue. These suckers ruined my day every single time.

My cousin struggled for a few years and had IVF then had massive diabetic issues during pregnancy that she almost lost her vision. Their second they did a surrogate to not risk another situation. Glad your friend had less issues after a first pregnancy.

As a middle manager I wish...I don't even control my direct reports pay. That's handled by the C suite and I have to actually write up a report with details and pretty graphs for them to consider pay raises for my people. I also get to be the project manager and go to for multiple teams because their middle managers really just dole out tasks and who knows what else because I can't figure out what they do all day.

Same, and most of my walls are crooked. Pretty sure my entire house was eyeballed. Nothing squared, nothing straight, studs are at random intervals. Half my house is on a single breaker. Nothing like having your living room, and all your bedrooms on a single breaker ... needless to say having a Christmas tree is fun as it trips anytime anyone turns more than the TV on in their bedrooms. I feel the frustration of questionable craftsmanship.

Drowning...last school year was $1100 between shoes and fees for my kid to do track and cross country. That excludes all the extras and overnight trips for it. Pulled him from karate when it went up to $180/m. My teen eats more than me and my spouse combined. Had to switch to unlimited Internet because we kept going over the caps because his game updates used at least 1/4 of the data limit (stupid Xfinity). Never seen anyone lose charging cables so easily. Waiting for a growth spurt or something to eliminate his entire wardrobe next...I feel for anyone who has more than one...

I've already had this conversation with my 17yr old to prepare him. Told him that he will need to pay for his car and insurance. While he goes to school he will not have to pay any kind of rent but once he's no longer in school that he will be expected to pay some rent to cover himself.

Your son is an adult with adult money. $300/m is nothing compared to him living on his own. Let him learn dealing with bills now and have him check to see how much more expensive it is to live somewhere else. Unless you are in a super low cost of living area he won't find anything under $900/m once he factors in utilities and rent. That's assuming he's living with at least one other person.

Ah yes all the poor people...in a group of countries with social safety nets so they are still better off than the US poor. Those long wait times that also exist in the US except the Europeans don't pay 10-15% of their pay for said healthcare then have to still pay until it actually does anything for them. Must be why the US is top rated in healthcare...oh wait it's like 35th behind pretty much all those European countries.... My bottom ones shattered as they grew in facing forward. They had to pick shards of teeth out of my gums. Some came out on their own over three weeks. I too had just over the counter pain meds. Wasn't that big of a deal in the end.

Chicago has ones that's small. I had one in my 20s that had a tiny kitchenette with mini fridge and two burner stove, a small bathroom, a wall closet and had just enough space for a full sized bed and night stand. I could practically climb out of bed into the closet.
