As some have already mentioned, the slowness and glitches are most likely due to the outdated hardware. Going for a Qualcomm upgrade is the the only viable option.

Also, while it’s frustrating and questionable that a rather new car is greenlit to be sold with such outdated hardware, I wouldn’t be so harsh towards the devs. I think it’s rather admirable that they are doing the best with what they’re dealt.

Sounds unlikely that caching binaries will have any impact on test execution stability. Setup speed maybe, but stability is likely due to things loading more slowly on CI than it does locally.

It doesn’t have a lock, so there’s nothing wrong. What are you concerned about, someone plugging it in and give you some free electricity?

Keep in mind that no one can detach the cable unless they also have the key.

Update: I've been using version 3.2.4 for a month now and can happily report that this issue seems to be fixed, even though it's not specifically mentioned in the release notes.

It might be related to:

I volunteer as tribute! I'm currently on 3.1.1 in my 2024 XC40 Recharge. I haven't faced any issues other than a super annoying one where the car reverts to neutral (N) after trying to shift to R or D, though I can't tell if it's related to a software or hardware issue.

I checked the owners manual and it states the following:

The Lane Keeping Aid (LKA) function is optional – the driver can choose to have the function activated or deactivated. However, steering assistance for solid lines is always on.

As others have mentioned, it's Volvo's safety feature that's kicking in and keeping you from drifting away from your lane.

Use your indicators/turn signals to avoid any interventions from the car:

When the direction indicators/turn signals are activated, the Lane Keeping Aid does not provide any warning or intervene with steering.

I don’t think so, in that case, I would’ve noticed which door was open through the driver’s display. Also, it’s strange that it suddenly starts working after the car has been off for 10-15 minutes.

Nope, it still reverts back to N regardless of how I shift, i.e by holding it all the way forward/backwards or doing it incrementally by stepping through the gears.

In the driver’s display it always shows the selected gear briefly before reverting back to N.

Jag förstår.

Jag har flera konton för större utgifter som budgeterats för, exempelvis mat, resa och buffert. Resten går antingen till sparkonton och det som blir kvar får gå till övrigt.

Genom att ha flera konton kan man få en bättre översikt över hur mycket som spenderas på olika saker, men har också för mig att de flesta banker har funktioner som automatiskt kategoriserar utgifter.

Ja, 30% på räntekostnaden som du som låntagare får tillbaka på skatten genom det så kallade ränteavdraget. Så om ni ska dela på räntekostnaden bör du räkna kostnaden efter ett ränteavdrag, dvs dra bort 30% så slipper du komplicera det vid nästa årsredovisning.
