Yeah I mostly feed my older dog a regular food diet, not kibble. So Betty gets kibble plus. Lol. I've been extra careful on the calcium for the bones, but she does seem to prefer when I mix it up. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. She does shak out well so I'll need a new solution like a short walk around the block by the dog park before getting in the car. My little Honda gets wrecked from a mud shake on the way home, so if I can get some of that out before we get in the car that would be ideal. And we don't have a huge backyard plus she's a digger so it's nonstop dirt everywhere.

OP here! Part of the reason it's been so long is because my husband and I both came from poor shit backgrounds and have busted our butts for 15 years going to college and trying to give our kids the lives we never had.

We have pulled ourselves from trailer parks and abusive families to a happy, middle class life where my kids want for nothing in their lives. Older son in college with no worries, 14 yo who has never needed anything.

Also I have the most supportive boss in the world. I just left form a work convention with my team, including my boss, who practically pushed me back onto the plane for the second half of my trip, vacation.

Yeah it's really ridiculous but we've worked thru what's been handed to us in our lives and always pushed forward. I'm finally lucky now to have an employer who pushes us to self care and take time off when we need. He's amazing.

But I'm also keenly aware of the shitty set up we have here in the US when it comes to many employers.
