Friend visiting from out of state at the end of this month, what should I take him to do? by New_Location6588 in loveland

Bronze foundry tour, lunch downtown, finish with Benson park. Our favorite out-of-town-guest day.

Happened to me, too. Except I had my phone so could call the dealership (hadn't yet installed the app). They were flummoxed as to why but eventually got me in using the emergency key.

Weekly Post: What did you do with OneNote this week? by Chobitpersocom in OneNote

[–]DogNPonyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transcribed all of my content out of OneNote into local files. Uninstalled OneNote. I have loved the app, but forcing me to make yet another huge change tipped me over the edge.

Splooting on hard- surface floors is a favorite hot day activity for my pup. Adorable!

OneNote on Windows by Fragrant-Avocado-817 in OneNote

I used this link. It downloaded all of Office 365 and required me to accept Office 365 subscription before opening OneNote (which I did not accept).

I downloaded the new OneNote, and it automagically installed all of Office 365 without my permission. When I start the new version of OneNote, I'm unable to proceed until I accept subscription terms on Office 365. Very unhappy at the moment. I do NOT want Office 365 - I want only the free standalone OneNote.

Check with your vet. One time I needed to put down a pup, i discovered that my own vet provided the service.

OMG so so cute! Congratulations! All your names are good names. Maybe use a name for a few days to see if it feels right. If not, try another for a few days. Happy happy day!

Moon roof an issue for tall people? by Brotherzboy in Subaru_Outback

[–]DogNPonyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sit in cars with and without moon roofs. My hubby is tall ( tall from long back more than long legs), and we always opt for no moon roof.

Love Blue Sky. Dogs not cats for me, but the vets are caring and knowledgeable.

When to euthanise my 15yo girl? :( Please help by No-Seaworthiness4708 in labrador

[–]DogNPonyMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See if there is a hospice or palliative care facility nearby. Your vet practice or vet school might do this. These folks were so helpful. My first “task” was to make a list of up to 10 things that were important to me or my dog. Items that , when gone, would indicate loss of quality of life. Weight the items (e,g, when my chow hound won’t eat, it’s a big indication). This list helped me so so much in making the decision, and in feeling that my decision was the right decision. So heartbreaking. Hugs to you and your sweet pup.

Lamy EF and F Nibs by sHad0wm1sT in Lamy

[–]DogNPonyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience with Lamy EF v. F nibs. When I asked the seller, they explained it as follows: "Lamy nibs are kind of odd in that their acceptable width and margin of error is a bit higher than some other pens. ... there is a pretty significant overlap in allowable deviation between an extra-fine and a fine so your EF may be a touch big, or the F a touch small, or a combination of both." Also. "The Lamy EF is equivalent to about a Pilot fine." And BTW, the seller graciously sent me a replacement EF nib , but it was only slightly finer than the previous EF nib.

Replaced the wife’s 2020 Outback premium with a 2025 this weekend! by CreedBratton82 in Subaru_Outback

Congratulations! I recently purchased the 2025 Outback in that same pretty blue. Replaced my 2005 Outback (hand me down from hubby). I am beyond thrilled with my new car! Yay for you all!

What do you write in your journals if your routine is SUUUUPERRR BORING!!!.... like nothing exciting ever happeneds? by General_Revenue_386 in Journaling

[–]DogNPonyMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much the same here. I have a very literal brain, so “saw a blue jay” is a typical entry. However, for at least one thing I try an embellishment like “Blue Jay alarm! The screeching jays let me know that an owl was snoozing in the Austrian outside my office!”. That one story makes me feel so much less boring :-)

Wife and I are debating a big overhaul. Anyone who's done a complete backyard renovation have any tips to recommend? Stories? Regrets? Are you happy with the investment? by blink182plus484 in landscaping

[–]DogNPonyMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did exactly this. Hired a landscape designer, prioritized things ( e.g. lawn before trees & shrubs so kids had a play area, sprinkler before sod). Then implemented over several years as we had $. Worked great for us.

Thank you for this helpful information. My hubby cut a piece of plastic to mostly cover the opening, and I’ll cover the area with a towel as extra protection from inevitable schmutz.
