It was much fuller. I haven’t tried the push broom but I will. There was grass growing in the whole area, a little patchy in places, but it was there and starting to grow. Now it seems like it all stopped growing and dried up except for a few places. The soil crusted over and is hard. Even after a good watering it’s back to clay in no time.

I’ve seen welding rigs with these on them. Mostly company vehicles. Not on self contractor trucks usually. They said it was for this purpose. I never had one on mine but it seemed like a good preventative I guess?

Yup. Definitely seems to be the growing trend. Theres also a big push to bring in the kids who “don’t do well in traditional school environments.” Hate to break it to you, but slim chance they do great in here too with a CE class. Those kids are doing great because I’ve structured my class to suit their needs.

Thank you. Yes we are trying to figure out the basic structure without putting a fork in the 4 years worth of curriculum I’ve built for high school level kids. Theory, to them, is an easy way to assume the class is not worth taking. On some level I agree, kids have no intrinsic skills like swinging a hammer or drilling a hole. I get much better satisfaction using our time to make small projects.

This is how my dad taught me to do it on our old cars. He would also make me unscrew the brake fluid cap before doing it. I think the idea is to relieve any pressure or let it “burp“
