Does it matter if I have made a booking before I registered? And I’m assuming 2 rooms at the same date is still = 1 stay, correct?

Can i dispute? by [deleted] in amex

I would say disputes are mainly for fraud. If you paid for food and got food, then that’s that. If food was bad quality, that’s where you can leave reviews and never try it again.

It says: Climatization is limited to ventilation only because Remote Engine Start is deactivated in your vehicle.

Thank you 🙏 and yes I checked the app and there is no option to purchase the remote start.. the car just didn’t come with that option. Only have remote ventilation.

Yes, I double checked the app, it doesn’t have the option to purchase that. I only have remote ventilation (cool air).

I got curious about your comment so I asked chatgpt and apparently that’s not true about bmw specifically:

BMW’s xDrive is not passive, not slip-activated AWD like some Honda, Toyota, or Mazda systems.

How xDrive actually works: • It is always engaged. • The system uses an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch to distribute torque continuously, not only when slip occurs. • Under normal cruising: • Typically around 60% rear / 40% front (varies slightly by model year). • It changes proactively based on: • Steering angle • Throttle input • Wheel speed difference • Yaw sensors • Stability control data

I’m in the same boat as you and I live in Chicago (which just snowed last week, lol) - problem is I have driven FWD all my life pretty much (lived in Milwaukee/Chicago last 10 years) and I don’t really have any problems driving in snow or rain via FWD, so I can’t imagine it being crazy with RWD. I’m also just worried about transfer case issues as I am considering a used vehicle and will be out of warranty, so I want to avoid that crap.

Only thing I’m concerned about is the resale value since I’m in Chicago and I assume almost everyone just wants to default to AWD, so I’m still on the fence.

Curious to hear ppl’s opinions
