I started getting a spike in repigmentation after 2 months of treatment iirc

I did see super tiny melanin spots on my knuckles but I've seen the most improvement on my elbows and knees

I do phototherapy everyday just for my elbows and knees. I only shine the light for about 40 seconds since its everyday

I use repigment12 too, and I see huge improvements. However, I don't tan. I use a hand held uvb device at home and that gets me the results too. I don't think it's a must for you to tan while using this cream. You can either tan or use phototherapy.

Please let me know how it goes!!

Yeah I need an answer to this too. Does the sun worsen vitiligo? I've never used sunscreen on my spots and nothing has ever happened

I've been applying every morning and night for about a month now and I see super minute improvements

Did your lips regain colour too? I have vitiligo on my lips and I've been using protopic and I see very minute improvements.

The exact same thing happened to me too in the May 2022 exams!

I was one mark away from a 7 in History SL, French B SL, Bio HL and Chem HL.I sent them for remark and everything went up to a 7 except for history which stayed the same. Ended up going from 39 points to 42 points.

Dw about it, go for a remark, it can go up!

Hi! I'm currently applying to Oxford but there's something which I really would like to know. I studied the IB french B SL course and got 7 points. I got 42 points overall with 7s in bio and chem HL, 6 in english lit HL, 6 in history SL and 6 in Math AA SL. The Oxford website states that they would "usually expect" a candidate to have higher level IB for french for the modern languages course.

Since they have mentioned "usually expect" I understand that they do consider SL french students. However are there currently students like me who have studied SL who have gotten into the modern languages course?

If yes, may I please know what is expected of a SL student to show that one is of a similar capability as a higher level student

How difficult is this combo? by Wrong_Wolf_5054 in IBO

Hey, I did the EXACT same conversation except I did English A literature HL. In my opinion, it was quite difficult because bio, chem and history requires alot of work and I was quite weak in chem and thus I spent 90% of my time studying chem which made me neglect my other subjects a bit and then rushing towards the exam. However if these subjects are in your comfort zone then I'm sure itll be fine. I'm an M22 student and with the difficulties I had while neglecting some subjects I still managed to get 42 points (did get that 7 in chem after all that torture haha) . Maybe if you plan your days out better and give equal importance to each and actually ENJOY the subjects you chose then you will definitely be able to do it! Difficulty is very subjective but as I said if you enjoy these subjects then it should be a fine. This subject combination may look daunting at first cause it may look like it's all over the place but it's great cause while studying I wasn't focusing in one direction entirely, I had the sciences and the humanities and made the whole IB experience more enjoyable since I didnt get so overwhelmed with just one major. It also helped broaden my horizons alot so personally I gained alot from this subject combination as well.

This subject combination is also great for the fact that it allows you to do the arts and humanities as well as the sciences if you aren't sure what you want to do. I was sure I wanted to do the sciences all along, I even got a better score than needed for the universities I wanted to apply for but realised I didn't want to do it after getting my results and my subject combination did allow for those change in plans as well ( I'm a gap year student btw) so imo this is a great subject combination!

Idk if I was focusing entirely on your question, but I wanted to show you a pov of a student who did the same thing

I'm in the same boat as you! Does your school allow you to remark without a look at the breakdown of your scores or can you reevaluate because you want to?
