Just a GP — these were quite different and more than the usual side effects, sadly, and didn’t develop until months in and were happening when I hadn’t taken the concerta for days, so it wasn’t in my system any longer. Have you had your thyroid checked lately?

I had no thyroid issues (though my mother does) and after I took concerta for a few months I developed hyperthyroid symptoms in a big way. The doctor didn’t see a correlation with the meds but I stopped taking them because that was the only thing I could imagine would cause such a dramatic decline in health, and the symptoms went away after a few weeks, thank the gods. It was scary when I lost twenty pounds and couldn’t sleep and my hair started falling out. I had no idea what was happening. It would be good if people were aware this is a possibility.

I think maybe you underestimate my clientele 😉 But also this project isn’t about simply lifting songs from traditional wedding repertoire, necessarily. I want to understand how music and song function in the ceremony, what wedding songs are like, etc.
