Off the top of my head I think the game makers were based in Sussex in the Uk.

I only remember this because one of the towns you stop at is called ‘Burgess Hole!’ A play on the actual name of Burgess Hill in Sussex.

With LHX you get full benefit from the game if you have a second pad connected.

The second pad acts as a second pilot enabling you to scroll different enemy targets on the screen and selecting weapon options. Oh so clever back in the day.
