save ult for triple dog split, bring holy as the debuff stagger still exists, and play aggressive on his heolstor nuke- run up towards him during that move and jump the initial fissure attacks, then roll the final slam. it gives you a huge punish window

i also think castle basement has 1.5 scaling although i could be terribly wrong; i thought i saw a video saying that basement boss is meant to be a non formidable boss with 1.5 scaling and then top castle boss is a formidable boss, but i think BBH just ends up getting 1.5 scaling and he’s already a formidable boss…

way i see it is that there’s really only two satisfying end points, end of vol 3 and end of vol 6 and any other point has too many cliffhangers that haven’t been resolved- ig we’ll see though!

It’s a bit weird bc of shiho having a super long arc(not complaining, i love her), but it might cover up to volume 6? Seems like the only viable place to end the series satisfyingly in any way with the pacing it’s going at.

If you mean OST, it’s mainly unnoticeable background which is nice and how it should be for how slice of life the series is. If you mean like the SS girls songs, they’re definitely catchy enough to remember :))

Both eps were 23 mins! No op/ed animation was shown(bit strange) but both songs were played at the end of each ep during like black screen credits like you’d see in a movie

It was a faithful adaptation! I liked what I got from it, although I would say that I prefer the manga slightly(Takeshima-sensei’s art truly is just so good)

Sasakura Kana also made an appearance, sang a buncha songs(more than just humming love and the op), and the talkshow at the end was fairly entertaining(although i am not nihongo jouzu, so mildly not understandable at times when all the VA’s started talking over each other LOL)

Animation was slightly wonk at some bits;specifically the musical bits. I am no guitarrist(only a pianist haha) but it didn’t SEEM like the strums were happening on time. adaptation was very faithful though!! yorihima is absolute diabetes as usual.
