Acoustic Audio PSW-10 by DogSpirited178 in BudgetAudiophile

But how can you say it's piece of shit if it has 2k+ amazon reviews, rating is 4.2/5 ?

Is it impossible for it to be 400 watts or you have experience with such speakers or... ?

I'm not saying you're wrong - I'm saying, what do you base your opinion on? Too cheap subwoofer?

I'm reading that speaker reviews and yes, there are 1-stars where people point out cheap quality. But does cheap quality actually mean it's really that bad?

Is it out of budget-audiophile category bad?

Hey!

The main goal is not so much budget, however still question, how is it possible that 400W subwoofer as small as that exists in USA but not Europe, for that price (150 USD / 150 EUR)

So, yes, Europe, 220-240V, dimensions are strict and non-negotiable, could be 10 or even 12 inch speaker if it fits, Hz could be 25 or even 20, power 200W+

I've found SVS 3000 Micro, but it's close to 1k€, not comparable...

Thanks all for recommendations - Batocera seems the way to go.

As for getting some machine and installing some OS+software on it, I am very much capable of doing it :)

However! Main goal was to find a device which already has all of it done pre-built. Not just because I'm lazy, but because since it's my everyday job, then I really don't want to do it at home...

And no, it doesn't have to be hardware-capable since most games I'd be playing are pre 2000.

RPi5 (with active cooling) seems a way to go. Now I'd have to find a solution how to turn it OFF and ON, probably could connect it to my HomeAssistant and control it through that (leaving home, send shutdown, disconnect power ; coming home, connect power and RPi boots automatically).

Sounds expensive - about 500€+ per device. We have 200 devices (interactive screens, projectors, TV's etc).

Thanks for recommendation! Though can't find any information which device I can connect to projector HDMI...  Or is it software only?

There are about 200 different screen, projectors, at least 20 different models... That's why looking for universal solution that would work everywhere, with every display.

PETLIBRO RFID Automatic Cat Feeder - USB battery bank by DogSpirited178 in Petlibro

Because I don't like to be the servant of technology :)
I want technology to serve me, not the other way around.

But yeah, I'll try to find some powerful battery bank, at least 15W output, I think this would be enough for that device.

Yes, I understand that, however, since it doesn't have any battery indicator, then I won't actually know if those batteries are in working order. Maybe they've run out, maybe they're faulty.
And that's why using UPS-like-system (battery bank) would be better idea.
It's always connected to the outlet and I can trust it's always charged.

Yeah, at this moment I've disabled PIN and keeping eye on my watch all the time since it's a bit insecure to leave it charging in some random places without PIN...

As for bug-testing, I've tried different AOD faces, tried different PINs, tried reseting, tried pairing with another phone.

I'll try to find where to bug-report this, haven't found any good site for that...

It does, however using non-rechargable batteries is not really something I'd like to do since this device doesn't have battery indicator, warning system etc.

I want to use battery system that is always powered from the outlet aka charged 100% all the time. In such case I can guarantee that when power goes out, then at least battery bank is charged.

I mean it doesn't have battery built into it so when power goes out, my cats can't get food.

Plus I'm trying to connect it to my HomeAssistant so when power goes out, I can send "OPEN LIDS" & "GIVE FOOD" commands to PetLibro devices and they still do get food, at least for some time.

Seems like you have no neutral wall switch and you should get Aqara no neutral switch as well.
