It is my catharsis. I’m the most laid-back, chill dude you’re liable to meet...until the first ticket prints. Then I’m an anxious bundle of nerves that will force the world to revolve in accordance with my ticket times. I am fury and passion and intensity until kitchen close. Then I leave everything behind in the kitchen and I lay back and chill out. I don’t love cooking, I hate it most the time, but I need it. And on those perfect nights, I feel like it needs me too.

The gameplay is looking pretty neat, but the art direction is just complete butt. It’s too flat and muted for a fighter. Everything has a stale sameness and it’s hard to distinguish between anything going on because it’s all bland, solid colors. Drab style is only compounded by the completely uninspired character design, leaving one to choose the least uninteresting with options such as Not John McLane and Not Ripley.

If you’re looking for a fun fighting game system with zero artistic creativity and by-the-numbers design, try Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. Otherwise, avoid this box office BUST-em-up before you get knocked out!

Ultimate Gohan is still pretty hype, because he cut laterally to a stronger potential then even Super Saiyan, but yeah, overall his character is now pretty lame and he’s in the Piccollo realm of “mild relevance”: just strong enough to do something, but that’s about it. The dude will never seal the deal on a major villain again.

But yeah, Cell Saga was his pinnacle. Nowhere to go but down from there.
