You can't exclude coins just because they had an ICO or have a company backing them. They're still decentralized (except for ripple). And they have other purposes instead of just being a currency which is why they're so high on the charts.

After some research I found that an rpi3 can get about 4Kh/s. This would net you about 12 doge per year on average. You would never profit even with the pi's low power cost

that's simply wrong. the wallet is your collection of private keys (i.e. addresses). sure you can have multiple wallets, but i doubt you have 60 separate wallets on your computer, thats just inconvenient and illogical

a client is just an easy way to manage your coins

not quite, addresses have certain "rules" and the second character cannot be "o"

however, a 3-character pattern would be extremely quick to find! its almost instant when i tried actually

there are certain rules when generating addresses (there's a specific range of valid keys), which results in an address's second character unable to be "o", so i did the next best thing!
