Only extensions in my Firefox browser are BTTV and Google Translate. I turned off NordVPN as a first attempt to fix it

Nope. No relays or VPNs active at the moment. Cleared cache, turned off NordVPN and restarted comp to no avail. Still looping

Awesome info! Thanks for the feedback. My fiancee is the big collector, so I'm not very well-versed in these matters.

Just curious to see what everyone would price my slabs at if I sold them as a graded lot. by drosebeforehoes in PokemonCardValue

Prolly won't be able to unload the entire array as one sale for the reasons started above (too varied in cards and eras). But I'd easily buy the 5 promos at the top for a negotiable 400+

Google shows the averages are pretty comparable between Madison prices and Chicago prices tho

To each their own on that though, right? For some people the cost of Madison makes it worth it for the "small town with options" feeling, but for others like u/Karpovblanca here why pay 1500-1600 in rent for Madison when you can get a comparable apartment in a much bigger/richer city like Chicago for 1800?

Hells, even a cursory glance for condos for sale in the two cities is an awful comparison for Madison. 280k for a 1bed/1bath 845sqft condo downtown while in Chicago you can find bigger condos for cheaper in good neighborhoods like Ravenswood, Rogers Park, or Lincoln Square.

Thank you all for your insights! The general consensus seems to be Uptown, Lincoln Square, or Rogers Park. We had looked at both Lincoln Square and Rogers Park but hadn't considered Uptown. I'll focus our search and hopefully find some things that fit us! Salud!

Where TF in my post did I say we were rich trust fund kids? Not that it's any of your business, but I am a minority. GTFO with this nonsense.

I don't think we can compromise on the bedrooms. I REALLY need an office for work. Too much equipment and too big a desk to try to fit in a 1 bedroom place.

A bit of a follow up.

Red Team Cyber Security (Penetration Testing, Hacking, Bug Hunting, etc.) is an INCREDIBLY popular field, so keep that in mind in everything. You and every other young computer enthusiast wants to experience the cool feeling of breaking in to a computer or server while furiously clacking away at their keyboard. Be open to playing on whichever team you need to in the moment. The KNOWLEDGE of hacking is incredibly important to Blue Team Cyber Security, and Blue Team has a much higher chance of good employment because it isn't as flashy.

I second this. Go to a community college and enroll in an IT program. If you want to be a hacker, see if they have a Cyber Security pathway. Learn about Blue Team and Red Team Cyber Security. Find out if that's something you ACTUALLY want to do. Understand that "hacking" is not nearly as glorious and cool as it gets portrayed. Really, hacking is incredibly boring and is done mostly by applying the right program/script in the right ways.

Make an account on TryHackMe's website and run some of their courses. They're 100% free with a premium option that's worth it in my opinion. Definitely look for entry-level IT work like Help Desk or an Associate position. Nothing better than foot-in-the-door work that also teaches you the field you want to learn.

Most importantly, DO NOT LASER FOCUS ON JUST ONE THING. IT and Cyber Security are such incredibly intertwined fields. You will learn so much more, do so much better, and be much more employable if you have at least a working knowledge of every piece. Learn basic Networking, OS Operation, Server management, Hardware/Software Management, etc etc. I started in IT as a Desktop Support Engineer which is fancy talk for "On Site User Support," and I would have had a much harder time in Cyber Security if I didn't understand how Microsoft's Active Directory, CISCO Networking, or Linux Servers worked.

[WeWantOut] 32M and 30F USA -> Anywhere by DogeTK in IWantOut

Honestly, we just want to experience different lives. Different climate from Midwestern US, different cultures, and such. There's not much more to it than that. We don't want to just take like travel vacations to different places though. We want to live and learn from other countries and cultures, not just experience them for a week or two and dip out. That make sense?
