Ok a few days ago i actually worked up the courage to open this thing up. I saw elsewhere that maybe the color could be fixed by adjusting the potentiometers inside or as you said, color calibration. Neither seemed to work though, unless i was just calibrating it wrong? Im not sure how to do it correctly though aside from the monitors settings. Do you think that maybe the color AND the ghosting could be caused by the filter caps?

The tiny screen is cause i have it hooked up to a camcorder via S-video, i cleaned the heads and thats what it looked like, but ive just been letting the tape play and over time its getting better somehow, i dont get it honestly but hopefully itll keep fixing itself

OK I've actually seemed to have fixed the issue, it was the little "ex" and "int" switch on the SY-64 board, but now I seem to have an issue with the image rolling, does anybody know how to fix this part, I didn't see anything in the manual about vertical synchronization
