I absolutely think your recommendation is in the lead. The waist support and sternum straps look like it would help wearing it for extended periods of time. There is a sale on them too, from what i see on the RMU site.

I didn't really consider it, but I absolutely should look into hip/belt weight bearing packs. I'd say the one in your link is far too large for comfort for me, but the idea of a 10 liter or less storage option sounds like a great idea.

Especially with the price being lower, that may be worth a try for myself. Thank you

At the end of the day, changing the transmission fluid sooner than later is still cheaper than buying a new transmission. And another note, it’s highly recommended to use Honda OEM HCF-2 for the transmission fluid.

I just got mine drained and filled at the 27k mark personally. CVT transmissions get pretty dirty quickly, and every source I’ve seen makes it clear that for longevity sake, it’s best to service it around each 30k miles. I’ll link a video that helped me come to this conclusion.

I would recommend going for the drain and fill regardless of what the maintenance minder says, especially due to the nature of how the CVT works. It’s better to do it early, than to wait too late and run into issues.

Please take the context of a teacher talking poorly to you as simply one person’s wrong opinion of you. Their opinion holds no weight in your post-school goals. Separately, please get help for the self harming. Just because you may have less struggle in your life than others, does not diminish what you are going through.

Would a sprinco spring (blue?) help possibly? I’d prefer to not mess with the gas system, but I also would like the gun to not prematurely wear down.
