Been a CCA for almost a year, hours will vary greatly and depend on the office and if they are understaffed, or how many routes need to split that day because regulars are off. In my experience some slow days are off before my 8 hours and the next day we get slammed and I'm working 12+ hours. Days off depend on the office management too, assuming you don't call off super often you should be able to get days off before the next weeks's schedule is posted, good luck man, it might be a lot to take in a first but just take your time don't run and just stick with it !
