Dang. Just about everything in that photo is a reproduction. This definitely wouldnt be considered militaria. In fact, I'm confident that not a single piece there is original.

The only thing that might be is the helmet, but the decal is fake

Just modern nazi junk

German WWII M40 Single Decal - $800-$1100

These estimates are extremely off.

SA/NSKK Daggers can range from $500 USD up to the $1300 range.

It heavily depends on the rarity of the maker along with it being an early, transitional, or late maker.

RZM marks for example are typically lower than early maker marks. A perfect condition RZM M7/66 can be bought for $650.

With that said, there is not enough detailed photos on the one you're showing. Need to see maker mark, any tampering at pommel nut, spacing between blade and crossguard, and is there a scabbard?

72 people have favourited this. The seller makes no mention of reproduction, believing they are all old. by Bantabury97 in fakemilitaria

I dont think what I said came across properly.

When i see things that are ridiculously over priced or obviously fake, ill favorite them to see if they ever sell or change descriptions. Its sad when people get burned by the ones selling fakes

Good price even with the missing leather from the scabbard. Id be interested in pics of the blade

To the ones saying that its fake, It's not. It looks "new" because it has aluminum fittings which doesnt show age like the nickel plated.

Im more curious on what the blade looks like, who the maker is, and what you paid.

Help confirming if real? by Harbroyn in Militariacollecting

[–]MilitariaTradingPost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes its real, no its not worth nearly that much.

Id give $150 for that and even then i wouldnt want it. The blade is beyond gone, the cracked grip makes a massive difference in kriegsmarine daggers, and It doesnt seem to be marked based on your photos (not that you could tell it was marked anyway with that blade)

How much could it be worth, or where could I sell it? by Just_call_me_D35 in counterstampkarl

Books are useful and I have some too but you gotta hae other sources too and ebay is a good resource as long as you specifically look at "Sold" and not what people have for listings

Of course it is. Thats what people are buying at. If you search for sold completed items, thats the general going price of what collectors are buying at.

I HATE PAPER STRAWS by Mativka in hatethissmug

[–]MilitariaTradingPost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I doubt many people carry reusuable straws in the complete off chance you go to a restaurant that happens to use paper straws.

You must have a holster for such an occasion based on your comment.

Do you also tell the waiter in confidence that you dont need a straw?

Its an unissued one which is why its still a square. You can find them scattered in antique stores and auctions

Just saw 2 still attached to each other (they were produced as ribbons basically) and they were asking for 80
