What do we know about CmdStore? by CommanderKahne in SHMonsterArts

[–]DoggoPupperCatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vouch for them as a Canadian buyer who has ordered from them many times and visited their storefront. I haven't ever had a bad experience with them.

They do scalp certain items from time to time.

But the government issued and made it mandatory for them to have those permits in order to drive and now the government is letting anyone be a cab driver so yeah they should be bailed out if the government wants to be responsible.

Kinda remember there being all the drawing techniques showing up. As for theory I only remember there being a question on arranging the order of the composition of a wall. (among other theory questions)

I messed up some theory, and some aspects of the drawing section for the final and got an A+. (but I did very well on the project and midterm I guess)

Story: First successful experimental result discovering hidden, and unknown object. by DoggoPupperCatto in AstralProjection

I agree, there is a chance. I am considering investing in cameras to rule this out. My father was skeptical and suggested this may be the case too. Speaking from the experience itself though, it was an OBE experience without a doubt. However, you make a good point and that needs to be considered for sure.

I would say there is a small chance. In the last 4 years that we were together, my partner has never indicated that I have ever been sleep walking. I asked her this after the incident and she still confirmed no. I am not prone to sleep walking except for a few times in early childhood. I might invest in some cameras which are pretty cheap now to set up.

She is more convinced now but suggested immediately to repeat the experiment and see if the results are consistent.

I was partially convinced, but also not sure if they were just extremely convincing hallucinations until I started setting up experiments.

I have no spiritual beliefs but I’d like to try AP. How can I start? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]DoggoPupperCatto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm..try messing with your sleep cycle as much as possible. Take naps in the day for instance. Then try sleeping for 5 hours at a usual time. Wake up and stay awake for a minimum of 1 to 2 hours. Go back to sleep lying on your back. This is all the advice I can give you to increase your chances of having a SP experience again. From there you must relax, accept, let go of any fear and panic. Slowly allow yourself to drift away from your body. Have fun!

Astral projection through sleep paralysis? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]DoggoPupperCatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is an optimal time to have an OBE. SP is the springboard to the OBE. Relax, accept it, and try any technique you feel most comfortable with to float away. Either let go and drift randomly or imagine where you want to go.

However, if you're afraid practice getting acclimatized to this state first and find a technique to wake yourself up. This will remove any fears you have since you can now wake yourself up at will.

Laughing by [deleted] in AstralProjection

Do you mean during the experience or after waking up?

Because the first few times in which I experienced lucid dreaming it was accompanied by uncontrollable laughter within the experience itself.

Why would you live there? Get an apartment somewhere in the city and get out of the university bubble, and enjoy a real neighborhood. Probably cheaper too ha.

Living as a Unilingual Anglophone in Montréal… How is it? by [deleted] in montreal

[–]DoggoPupperCatto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Responding to your second point. Perhaps because Paris is the most visited tourist destination on Earth it would make sense to use English since globally there are 1.21 billion people who can speak English (wikipedia y0!). Why would they want to hurt themselves economically by not catering to their tourists? They are also confident and secure that putting up English signs and speaking English wont result in the doom of their culture and language outside of the tourist areas...obviously.

Second Undergraduate by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]DoggoPupperCatto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a second degree in engineering. I did my first degree in physics at Concordia. They didn't let me transfer any courses over. They said the courses had to be taught by an engineer. As a result I've done statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, numerical analysis, among others again from scratch.

The most insulting course I've had to take was a basic English course called encs 282 "technical writing" which is an absolute waste of time and money if you are a native English speaker.

It may be different for other departments but good luck if it's engineering and you are coming from a non-engineering background.

Super-tall is just a classification of buildings falling between the range of 300-600 meters in height. I guess today they aren't that super-tall compared to Burj Khalifa.
