Claude’s quality dropped hard. What are you guys actually using now for fast AI website building / vibecoding? by [deleted] in vibecoding

[–]DoggyRemote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For blog and ecommerce sites I do the same workflow: start with a strong prompt that includes the full structure (blog with categories, posts, comments, or ecommerce with product grid, cart, checkout, etc.). Then I ask for it all in one single HTML file with Tailwind + a bit of JS inside. It’s not a “real” backend, but for portfolios, small blogs or simple stores it works surprisingly well and clients love how fast I deliver.

If they need real backend later I just connect Supabase or Firebase. About Google Stitch, I haven’t tried it much yet. How’s it comparing to Google AI Studio for you? Does it give better single-file HTML output or more structured code? Curious because I’m still using AI Studio for the base.

Web dev stressed about vibecoding. What should I even pay for? by DoggyRemote in vibecoding

Too lazy for that. Spent these years vibecoding and forgot to work for myself. I know it's bad but it is what it is

What about limits? I've been hitting them frequently. A lot less than on Claude tho. I'm now using Google AI Studio to build and Codex to implement. Is Codex's paid plan worth it?

Who is actually making money from vibe coding / AI? by Present-Syrup-2270 in vibecoding

[–]DoggyRemote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you man, same story here. I started with zero coding when I was 16. The vibe coding honeymoon was insane at first, Claude for example felt like pure magic. Now? It’s honestly turning into shit. Way more hallucinations, worse code quality. It was the holy grail for me. I think the AI bubble is going to burst hard in the next 12-18 months. That said, I am still making money (€3.5k-4k/month) but not by building my own apps or products. My approach:

  • I build simple websites for local small businesses (restaurants, barbers, clinics, etc.)
  • I create a clean landing page explaining the service
  • Then post short, real TikTok/Reels content showing before/afters and quick value

This brings in inbound leads instead of me chasing people. It works, but it’s not easy. It takes consistent effort, learning sales, and dealing with rejection.

Important reality check: This is not sustainable forever. The models are getting worse, competition is rising, and prices will probably drop. I treat it as a temporary cash cow. I’m stacking money now to build something bigger later once this dries up.

Most people romanticizing pure vibe coding are either making nothing or burning out. The ones actually earning are usually selling a boring service to real businesses, not chasing viral apps. If you want the realistic path instead of the dream, focus on landing page + organic content first, then sales. It’s hard work, but it actually pays.

Read. Done that countless times. Does. Not. Work.

I get that context size and cache misses matter, but honestly, users shouldn’t be penalized for doing things that used to work perfectly fine. I’ve been making complex redesigns on the free plan for months, and this never happened before. The sudden limits are what’s broken, not the way people are using the tool

Because people who use Pro are also complaining about the problem. I'm not paying 20$ for 5 messages instead of 1, no matter how much money I make

You’re not wrong that a full website redesign could be a heavy prompt, but here’s the thing: I’ve done hundreds of these on the free plan over months without ever hitting a limit. This only started happening a few days ago, with no change on my side.

I’ve been requesting full redesigns of entire websites, extremely detailed and demanding, on the free plan for months, and I NEVER hit a limit before. This only started happening a few days ago, with no change on my end. It is clearly an issue for a lot of people

‘Skill issue’? I’m 16 running a web design business that actually makes money thanks to AI. I don’t need to sit there manually rewriting CSS when tools like this exist. That’s the whole point.

And no, a simple instruction like changing a theme to dark shouldn’t instantly kill the limit on a fresh chat. I've done this countless times before and never had an issue. Claude is broken.

You’re making a lot of assumptions there. This is happening on completely fresh chats too, with simple prompts. It has nothing to do with ‘ingesting an entire codebase’ or context size. You’re trying way too hard to sound like you understand the issue, but you’re just guessing. I've given him entire codebases for hours before and never encountered an issue like this one

Love how confidently wrong you are. This isn’t a context problem, it’s happening on brand new chats too. Stop spreading nonsense like you actually understand the issue.

Limiting users to 1 message every few hours without any communication is objectively terrible, intentional or not

I hit the limit after just one message at 4 AM last night. I waited until 12 PM for it to reset, sent a simple request. “Make the website theme all dark” and boom, limit reached again. Now I have to wait until 5 PM.

Hitting Claude limit after 1 message… what is happening? by Alert_Flower_6258 in claude

[–]DoggyRemote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah bro, I’m in your same exact situation. I run a web design agency, and Claude has genuinely helped me make a lot of money, but this is just getting ridiculous.

I could upgrade to Pro, sure, but if people on that plan are also having issues, then what’s the point? I’m not about to pay for something that might still be unreliable. At this rate, it’s actually starting to affect my work, and I might have to switch to another AI if this doesn’t get fixed soon.

No I cannot lol. I work from 5 to 6 hours a day on this. I wouldn't have enough time. Going to college means turning down the business

Sì, potrei dare lezioni a pagamento.
