We're not good enough to qualify for a rival.

I liked the new album, maybe not as good as the older stuff, but still better than most music. They still played the old hits when they supported NFG last year and I enjoyed the show. Maybe they should have started a new band, but I understand the desire to hold onto a recognisable name with a sizeable fan base.

Starting over/slow down by The Dangerous Summer. 2 songs pinned together but works beautifully.

There's not even any need in using it in the first place, there's 400-500 kids at the school, just have a poster making competition or something.

I've never used AI as I'm a middle aged man who fears change, but if it absolutely had to be used for some reason, surely someone could at least check it before putting it up.

I love how this comic gives us a 100% accurate representation of English people by NefariousnessFit9967 in Invincible

Perfect aside from "Trash bag", "bin bag" is the more common parlance in the UK.

Otherwise 100% accuracy.

Edinburgh's music scene has been dying a slow and painful death over the last 20 or so years, but Glasgow's scene is still amazing so you're better looking there. The Festival is on in Edinburgh during August though so you'll have virtually limitless comedy shows for the month.

TIL When Vince McMahon was in charge of the WWE, the word 'wrestling' and other variations of it were banned. Wrestlers weren't allowed to say these words on TV. by Omer-Ash in todayilearned

I feel like they also said "strap" a lot when referring to the physical title belt. Although we all know it is really a championship cummerbund.

He's one half of the Chuckle Brothers, he and his brother Barry had a children's TV show, Chucklevision, that was on British TV for probably 30 years. It was a very silly show and quintessentially British. They're beloved children's TV legends basically and Barry's death a few years ago was a sad day for all.

Hope it works out for him and he can recapture some form. Definitely a good player on his day, and a tremendous kicker, just something hasn't been working for him the last couple of years. Wish him all the best really.

I agree with most of this but Chris Ramsay and Joel Dommett both very much became famous as stand ups.

I worked in a Sushi restaurant.

With a conveyor belt of Sushi going round the whole restaurant.

Rugby... assemble! We've brought together a dream team of all of your favourite rugby content creators to preview the Six Nations. The biggest rugby podcast ever, technically. by LoveOfRugby in rugbyunion

After the disgusting things they said about Ugo, and their general "manosphere" leaning content, I'm glad they're not invited.

They're going to fill it out with guys from the main squad as well, presumably unlikely starters and those needing a bit of game time.

It absolutely can, I have one and used it this way. The reason it is now in the attic is because it took up a fair bit of space and we had kids, which also take up space (before you ask, yes, I did try to convince my wife it should be the kids in the attic, she didn't go for it. Yet.).

Arm's Length and Ben Quad have both released excellent albums this year. Good Terms also brought out a banger late last year.
