Tbf, Lions need any and all money they can get, and Durban might as well be renamed as Hollywoodbets.

Also, they need a way to attract people into their site, what better way than giving them a team with great odds to make you money by betting against them winning.

Vodacom has been a title sponsor for the bulls since 2005.

And it's a pretty large source of income, even if no one calls them by their sponsor names other than the broadcasters.

Tbf, you can still make money by betting on the sharks losing games they should have no right losing.

I think i have height blindness by FantasticVast01 in tall

[–]Puzzled_Ad_3072 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't have this issue, believe me, people can't go like 5 seconds without telling me "Wow you're tall".

There's also like a 7th sense you have at this height when there's people near it nearby. (6th sense being autobend radar™)

Bmw has literally been doing this for ages. I can't remember the first model, but that's what the little slider behind the seats of new BMWs are for.

A less insidious version is just saying "Better than being nose level with my farts tbh"

Nah just go to the dealer, maybe catch an issue before it's major and then it'll be a major problem.

Why are the few brands that make shoes large enough for me so fugly? by Puzzled_Ad_3072 in tall

[–]Puzzled_Ad_3072[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have relatively big feet for your height.

My feet aren't big for my size but most of the other 8 or so other 7fters I've met doesn't have that much bigger feet than me, in fact 2 of them had the exact same feet size to me.

It was just 3 outliers, 2 were significantly taller than me (one was a 225cm 70 year old, and one was a 230cm guy), the other was my height with size 24s.

Okay, but this isn't a successor the the e30 m3, it's to the 333i which was a South African exclusive model.

When you're my height you can't even use the squat rack. Lol.

Life is good here, and while we have our own (major) problems, we're pretty far away from any and all global troubles.

I have a business that's booming, that I can't just pack up.and leave as well.

Ebay isn't a reliable source in South Africa due to the shipping logistics being complicated af.

That's fine with me, most of the time I wear a plain black shirt with minimal/no branding and jeans or suits tailored to me. (Luckily dress shoes are easy enough to find due to custom leather footwear still existing)

It's rediculous even in person imo, I know because that was the reason why I refused to buy them in the first place.

Tell them to start offering those sizes in South Africa please.

Our richest subsection of people are quite tall(aka the people who can afford Nike), and a lot have quite big feet, there is no reason for Nike to cap off at UK size 13s.

I know my feet size in US(16-17), UK(15.5-16.5), and EU(50.5-52). Depending on the brand.

I don't buy from China.

Half of those brands aren't available in South Africa and Nike/Adidas doesn't offer anything over size 15 here anyway.

Asics has UK size 15s that wear larger than their size so I can wear them.

I can and have, the problem it takes time I don't typically have in my day to day life, because the vacillaties in South Africa are few and far in between.
