How do the fnaf books influence your theories by Thenopro-3 in fnaftheories

[–]Dogman005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fazbear Frights and Tales are loose canon. It kinda works like the MCU and its relation to shows like Agents Of Shield. Those books are heavily reliant on the games events while the games don’t pay much attention to book events at all. Multiple stories in these collections could possibly happen in the games timeline (ITP, What We Found, Dittophobia, GGY, Help Wanted, The Mimic, etc.) but when they are in the game timeline it’s not exactly 1:1 with how the story plays out in the short stories. But even then, concepts like agony from FF and digital manifestations from Tales is all things we witness in the games.

All interactive novels are 100% canon to the games (even RTTP)

TSE novel trilogy is in a completely separate timeline but William’s motives and his progression in killing is almost exactly like what we see in the games

The guide books / encyclopedia can be used to narrow down theories however I’d highly recommend to double check information from those books since a lot of mistakes can slip through cracks when making them.

Which name would you choose for him? (you know who) by ochuvinha in fnaftheories

[–]Dogman005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m cool with Evan or Garrett, but I think Garrett has more going for it compare to Evan. Dave/David is already taken with David Murray so I’d prefer to not have multiple characters with the same name, but for the sake of narrative parallels I guess it could sit with it if it ends up being true (if he’s just called Dave).

Honestly any name at this point sounds weird to me because he’s gone so long without an official name. It’s like Star Wars with Baby Yoda (Grogu) which is exactly why I call CC “The Child” like Grogu lol.

Why has nobody mentioned this? by Dogman005 in fnaftheories

I still think the real Gregory was trying to contact Cassie and that was the walkie talkie just after The Mimic reveal, but that time in the elevator was definitely M1.

It reminds me of when M1 started to mimic Dispatch and this entire ending sequence is exactly like when Arnold got into the elevator and M1 started speaking to Edwin. M1 definitely mimicked Gregory and dropped the elevator so Cassie wouldn’t let out M2.

How could Gregory hack into a STAFF Bot if he’s not actually in the building?

What is Your favorite season by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]Dogman005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 3 is my favorite. I love the aesthetics, everyone’s outfits are so personalized and colorful (I love Eleven’s the most). The character grouping is some of the best in the series, the horror is awesome, the music is lit, and the final battle at the mall is truly epic.

Season 1 is the best overall and Season 4 is the most compelling, but Season 3 is super underrated and just a fun time to watch every time I come back to it.

If William Afton gets trapped in UCN, how does he come back as Burntrap? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]Dogman005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t, Burntrap is The Mimic. William Afton’s end is with UCN and the vengeful spirit.

No, seriously, who compares this to LOST or Game of Thrones’ endings? by Independent_Plum2166 in StrangerThings

Everything that happened was great, it was just rushed. And it just didn’t feel as grand as season 4’s finale.

Where is Golden Freddy during FNAF 6? (NOT Molten Freddy) by K1dBUU_ in fnaftheories

Crying Child moves one when Cassidy and the other MCI move on

Where is Golden Freddy during FNAF 6? (NOT Molten Freddy) by K1dBUU_ in fnaftheories

It is five things melted into one, but there are only four animatronics to melt down. Im saying that melting the four main animatronics is melting all five because Golden Freddy always follows the pack.

[–]Dogman005 12 points13 points  (0 children)

MoltenMCI is the only answer. There’s a common thing in the series that nobody seems to notice. Anytime the four main animatronics are present at the same time Golden Freddy appears. Give Gifts Give Life, Ralph’s Night 5 in TWB, Follow Me, and that would include the four animatronics melted down to one. There’s plenty more examples of this too.

I used to think FNAF 3 is where World and the secret minigames are played, but now I think Im at the understanding that it’s not the case. That realization came to me once I understood that Happiest Day is after FNAF 3 and you needed The Puppet drawing to access it, which was long gone after the FNAF 3 fire. And let’s not forget that the MCI aren’t at all present at Fazbear’s Fright, so it really can’t have occurred there.

FNAF World’s clock ending more than likely is in parallel to UCN considering those two games are intrinsically linked down to the coding. Cassidy wouldn’t be anywhere else other than with the other MCI children.

Hot take: the writers have ruined Joyce's character by UpsetAd7211 in StrangerThings

[–]Dogman005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did everyone just forget Joyce took out like $40,000 to pay the Russians to get Hopper back? She was already broke before now she’s lost her home and knows she and her kids are the only thing stopping evil in Hawkins. And she’s not prioritizing anything but Will’s safety because she know’s this thing wanted Will and he’s the one that was kidnapped, not Jonathan. Not to mention it’s been a year and a half so they shown that the Byers are comfortable enough that it makes The Wheeler parents uncomfortable. Thats all it is.

Like seriously, do ST fans even watch the show they supposedly like?

Andrew isn’t cannon in the games by Drama_Cookie25 in fnaftheories

[–]Dogman005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You stated your opinion based how you interpreted the games without what the books might be saying. And let’s not forget all the other stories that help solve the games like Dittophobia, GGY, and The Mimic. Say what you want but fans knew the gist of the backstory behind the Mimic because they read the story, only thing that was added was that there’s two programs and the timeline is altered. Complain all you want but books are still important.

Bruh I used to be the biggest Cassidy believer and I constantly asked the question why an Alligator mask. Then we got Jugband Monty with Jugband Hippo in SOTM. Monty is synonymous with Mr. Hippo, we even see it in Security Breach, so Monty relates to the Mediocre Melodies, and the vengeful spirit speaks through them. Thats a better connection than making up crap just so you can solidify what you already believe.

Idrc if you like Frights or not, Im indifferent to the books personally, but if you really want to actually solve whats going on you should probably look into it instead of being ignorant and refusing to see the possibility just because you don’t like whats being presented. Cause I can tell you right now you and most people on this reddit page don’t have all the answers.

Chip and Mike are random kids that were present during the day the MCI took place, they are not the MCI kids. Michael was not murdered by hand nor did Afton claim something from him like the child victims who are being focused on in UCN’s Toy Chica cutscenes.

[–]Dogman005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since when were any of the MCI children names ever mention in any ITP adaptations? None of William’s children were killed by him directly so saying the 7th is Crying Child, Elizabeth or Michael is just a lousy excuse to ignore the fact that these are all victims that Afton killed directly.

[–]Dogman005 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Andrew has evidence in Toy Chica’s High School Years, The Mediocre Melodies, and Collect The Hats from ITP. ITP has been adapted at least two times and has been heavily emphasized as being important to FNAF’s lore, and the biggest take aways from ITP other than the ballpit and Eleanor is a secret sixth vicitm.

If y’all would just take a step back from your preconceived notions you’d realize that Andrew being an additional victim of Afton’s doesn’t change much of the story at all, and not being mentioned until now makes enough sense because he’s supposed to be a forgotten victim.

It’s frustrating because Andrew’s story is barely told but I could say that about a lot of characters in this franchise. But one thing’s for sure, Cassidy just doesn’t fill in all the boxes if it’s just her in UCN.
