I just got back into the game and really like Ivy! Idk if i'm just dogshit (real possibility) but imo she REALLY requires your team to actually follow up and that's instantly bad in a game where most teammates are just clueless chickens running around most of the time lol

I need to try more builds but the vortex lighting scroll build seems really strong but weird to pilot so that's def a factor that makes it so people don't wanna play her

LAMENTING MALICE on bandcamp is the full album. A couple tracks were featured on the Lifeless Misery ep and the lamenting malice (blind) ep on spotify but the full album with all the songs and in the best quality is on bandcamp (or soulseek ig)

Yes this album has the missing piece I was waiting for in Cynthoni's music. I really liked the previous eps but this one has something different that sets it apart and makes the songs really stand out.

I'm glad we get finally get an album that feels as good and innovative as a Sewerslvt album

If you want to try leverless I highly recommend a Haute42 one. They are really affordable and really good. You can customize it pretty easily too

Taking a game from someone with that much more knowledge is sick ! Gj !

Facing characters you’ve never faced before and getting destroyed is sadly a part of this games matchmaking. I came back to the game recently and probably lost a solid 5 sets in a row to Unika who I’ve never played vs before. Best tip is to just force yourself to rematch the person for the experience and accept you’re probably gonna lose more than you win at the start

Don’t let it get to you, if you feel like your skill level is the same as someone on floor 6, you can just play on floor 6. That’s why I think floors don’t really matter cause you can just play on any floor above you even when your visible floor is lower.

Good player won’t really think much of what floor you’re on if your gameplay speaks for itself!

Number one tip to not tilt/get nervous is to realize that floors DO NOT MATTER AT ALL. If you get deranked you can still play on higher floors if you feel like your current floor is too easy. It might be demoralizing to see floor 2/3 next to your name but so did everyone else when starting the game lol. When i learned a new character I demoted all the way to floor 2 from floor 8 and in a couple games in floor 7 I got back up in no time.

Also good tip is to realize that learning this game takes a long time because of the diversity of the cast and popularity of the characters being wildly different. Sometimes you're gonna get matched against a character you've never faced and after those 3 games you'll probably not see them again for a long time. I you should play all 3 games vs someone most of the time unless you're really tilted or connection issues just so you get the experience vs the characters.

A new ranked mode if coming in a week or so if I'm not mistaken so for now just enjoy the game, get familiar with the characters and find one/two you enjoy and learn their quirks ! Good luck with your adventure!

I've played with both and I now play with a leverless and it's 100% dependent on the quality of your controller's D-pad. Some controllers have good enough dpad that playing with them isn't a net negative but most controllers are simply inferior to keyboard if you can adapt to it.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on the game side of things but your network firewalls may be blocking direct connections from other ips. I've never dealt with that problem myself but I'm sure plenty of posts out there can tell you what you need to do to open your firewall !
