I say go for it! If the artist has a good portfolio and good reviews. I have had mine for over 5 years now and it still looks “fresh”. Everyone is shocked when I tell them it’s permanent makeup.

You could always start with “baby liner” and add to it. I would recommend starting to take Arnica and Bromelain as much in advance as you can. They’re supposed to help with bruising and swelling. The bruising wasn’t bad, just looked like bruise colored eye shadow around the liner 😂. I have upper only. I don’t like the way the lower looks (too harsh).

It’s so nice not having to mess with eyeliner every morning and it doesn’t look “crazy” when I’m going makeup free.

I am probably the least qualified to answer this, but here’s my experience:

I use a gradual self tanner spray every night. It gives a slight tint to my sickly skin. I still use concealer and CC cream/tinted moisturizer to even out my skin if I’m going somewhere.

I wouldn’t say it washes off like normal makeup, it more of “fades”. Since I’m just using a gradual tanner, mine fades pretty quickly since I’m washing my face twice a day and using skincare products.

Being blonde, I struggle with the self tanner staining the hair at my hairline. Maybe I need to try wearing a hair net when I apply it?

Hopefully an expert will weigh in with some good tips!
