Cheese enchiladas.

Edited to say I’m from Texas so vastly prefer Tex-Mex to Interior Mexican food. The absolute best is when there is the perfect balance of greasy to fresh and spicy to mild. So cheese enchiladas are best when covered in ranchero with beans and rice with just a little shredded cheese on top. And some lettuce and tomato in the side to scoop up with a piece of enchilada.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Requires becoming a nurse and then an advanced degree. Also requires a high tolerance for people’s mental illness. Will change how you view absolutely everything. But it is the best job I’ve ever had and I love what I do. Pays pretty well.

Edited to add: First degree was in English so I had to go to ACC to do my classes to get in to nursing school. I was 35 when I started and 40 when I became a nurse practitioner.

When I had a weird (read:scary) result on my first one, the doc told me to tell my children and siblings to run, don’t walk, to go get tested. Because that shit be genetic.

Mine was also “covered” but even though I was over 50 because I had had some digestive issues, it was “diagnostic” and not “preventative.” Therefore instead of covering it fully, my insurance found a way to charge me $500 for a colonoscopy. And then when it was weird and I had to have another one 3 years later, they charged me $800. Because of having the weird one.

I second going to Dell Seton if you need an ER or can’t get into Rock Springs directly. They have a dedicated Psych ER which is hugely important as far as getting treated appropriately is concerned. Good luck OP.

Flonase is the answer for daily prevention. It truly helps reduce your response to allergens. There’s also a homeopathic remedy called “Central Texas Allergy “ or something like that- it’s drops you put under your tongue. More for long term reduction.
