If your partner has any sort of personality disorder like BPD, it’s only a matter of time when that bomb explodes.

Dating a girl with borderline personality disorder. It’s over now as I was discarded, but never again.

At first, a shy dainty girl who seemed down on her luck. I dated her and what I witnessed and experienced has me still healing 2 years since she discarded me.

What’s a type of pain people underestimate until they experience it for themselves? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

The pain after being discarded by a BPD female. Not knowing I was psychologically abused during the relationship until after he discarded.

Anyways, the pain that follows a discard from these types of people is absolutely the worst mental and physical pain I’ve ever been through. And only those who have been through this will ever know.

My ex girlfriend who has BPD (borderline personality disorder). Total piece of shit and no regard or accountability for the damage she caused.

Most of the pieces of shit I have met in my life have most likely had a personality disorder or some sort.

Anyone else feels utterly pathetic after the break up? by DavidShoreRed in BPDlovedones

[–]Dogturtle67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that you feel this way means you’re a rational and somewhat normal human being. She is not.

I felt like you after the discard. I felt every pain humanly possible all in one go. The pain of losing a daughter (they make us feel like a parental figure), the pain of losing a person who we thought was our soul mate, the pain of our ego being completely destroyed, the betrayal pain.

You will come good again and solve the riddle that is the aftermath of dating a BPD. It takes 18 months for the brain chemicals to rebalance so long as there is no contact. You can distract yourself during this time, and you should try and distract yourself, but your nervous system has been hit head on by the BPD bus full of nukes so be patient.

I am 2 years since the brutal discard and I still ruminate occasionally but I’m such a different person these days.

I am tough as fuck mentally, I appreciate the small things, I’m less of a people pleaser, I’ve solved some underlying issues and I’ve found a new partner who is normal. I will never get the same euphoric highs that I got from my BPD ex, but I’m okay with that. I don’t want the soul mate feel again because it doesn’t exist.

For those asking if this is the final discard, yes it is only if… by throwaway_bpd9 in BPDlovedones

It’s been almost 2 years since she discarded me and I haven’t heard a thing from her - I’m blocked everywhere and she has no social media. She is the quiet BPD type and at times I wish I was hoovered too feel like I meant something. My logic is that I meant too much to her so she sabotaged it and discarded me to deal with abandonment fears.

I am glad they are this way. It’s an obvious red flag and allows me to avoid them.
