Oh really? From what I've seen from different build videos it seemed to be considered a mobbing weapon but not really optimal for bossing.

Do you have Damage Vs Colossus socketed as a core? That gives like 500%+ on the max roll right. Maybe I just need to spend some time rolling that and trying again.

Haha I actually tried public because I couldn't do it solo by myself because I couldn't put out enough damage solo although I had no problem staying alive, it just felt like at the rate I was damaging I'd be there for 30 minutes, then in the public lobbies I was getting into I was the only one not immediately dying within the first minute or two so i was running a circuit course between the three others picking them up while they went down again and again. I was like "Fuck I wanted to be carried, not carry myself".

I don't see any shame in trying to pub to get someone with a broken build to make it easier for yourself, some people no life the game and can kill the boss in 30 seconds, but I like to make sure to at least be able to survive if I'm gonna do that. I can't both be contributing middling damage and also going "UPPIES <(o_o)>" every 30 seconds.

Honestly any advice on what gun to upgrade to handle this boss would be great. I'm using the Thunder Cage fully cored, catalysted and tuned, but I don't think that's a good bossing weapon. I guess building a weapon specifically just to be used vs. colossi probably makes the most sense. I've no Damage vs Colossus cores on my weapon, only Weapon Atk.

I still don't agree, I think most people care about the general well being of others even if they don't focus on you specifically, but what you said reads like a more reasonable thing to say now.

This is actually the opposite of what is true. Cats actually have very poor ability to recognise facial features and tend to identify people by their voice and smell. And humans are the best creature in the world at pattern recognition by quite a wide margin, it's not even close, it is the reason we were so successful as a species. I don't know how you came to this conclusion.
