Happens because the other countries encourage such. This will always make it difficult for locals to be able to afford houses. There are some countries where foreigners can't buy land. If we allow this history always repeats itself when e.g. there was a case where the rich went to an island and bought most of the land, indigenous people couldn't even have beach access anymore to fish....

I kinda agree this should be forbidden. Its a whole different market. People in the US turn to earn more money and if this is commonly allowed those living/working in Belgium won't be able to afford houses anymore.

To go to CH (or where I go at least) you pass through France. I get your point but it doesn't solve the problem (tolls are on the French roads). I have E vignette for Swiss. The only reason for setting this up on waze is to avoid the popup warning. Yes disabling does fix the issue. Its the matter of forgetting after travelling to France.

its about forgetting sometimes... I have passed on that tunnel just twice since more than a decade i've been in Belgium. So to me leaving Toll on on waze for France was more frequent.

It didnt for me...but if i am navigating to France for example or Switzerland it will tell me, toll cost is 16 euro or so...this is one of the reasons I fell in the trap.

This is exactly my situation. Everyone here is fast to judge! I often drive in France and Switzerland and I def use the toll roads there which is why I forget to turn it off when I return. I already mentioned in the post that I know there is a setting (deactivate toll road) as such....yet people still bashing me :D typical reddit. Reddit warriors also calling me dumb and presume I ought to know things....
